The house is 5 minutes walk from the quaint rural village of Cambounes, situated in the Parc Naturel Regional Du Haut-Languedoc, in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, in one of the most scenic regions of the south-west of France. The area is well known for hiking and mountain biking and the local town of Brassac hosted the French championship in mountain biking descents in May 2011.
