This was a very short walk from the quicksilver lift and ski school. It is centrally located and a short walk to main street and seemed close to everything (restaurants, ski rental places, other shops, etc.). This particular unit had a perfect layout for a family and had plenty of space for our family of 5. It's also in a complex with several restaurants/shops and the main building has a concierge/business center and it has a shuttle service you can leverage if you deal directly with bell-hops.
Only complaints - coffee maker was old and very dirty, master bed was a little softer than I prefer, Kitchen cooking supplies were somewhat limited.

This place is amazing. Modern, clean and large. My wife and I were on our honeymoon, but it best suited for a family of 5 or 6! Kitchen is large with modern appliances and the TV, DVD player and fireplace all worked wonderfully. The back porch is very small with a view of a wooded area (just a heads up). The parking was easy and felt very safe leaving our car unattended! Overall, amazing place!

We stayed here for five nights with six adults and four little kids. Plenty of room for all. It's perfectly located to walk anywhere you'd want to go downtown, and it's close to the Children's Museum, which our children loved. There's also access to the pool and hot tubs. The great room/kitchen areas are separate from two of the bedrooms, so that the babies (and me!) could soundly nap. The blinds were also pretty suitable for room darkening during the day, though not the darkest around. The only drawback was the kitchen layout - pretty bad location for fridge, utensils, and almost everything...

The condo was beautiful and set in a fantastic location. This is the second year that my extended family and I have stayed in the Chateaux. Both experiences have been outstanding. The beds were very comfortable and it was wonderful to have full baths in each room and in the master suite the bathroom was beautiful. The kitchen is very nice and provides everything needed to cook meals and have a nice time at the condo without having to go out. The only thing that would have made the stay a little easier logistically would be if the condo came with more than one parking pass because with as many people as that condo can sleep, it is likely that people will need to park more than just 1 car.

Condo was good but - 1. Food waste disposal unit did not work; appeared broken. 2. There was no ski storage locker - there should be. 3.Lighting in third (twin beds) bedroom was poor, more or better lighting needed. And bath in that bathroom was very small. 4. Worse - the twin beds in that room were poor quality, small for adults with very soft mattresses. Maybe OK for children but very unsatisfactory for adults. Not good for a supposedly deluxe condo. 5. Quantity of chinaware, cutlery not really adequate for 6 residents.
Externally the entrance to the Chateaux building was unsatisfactory, possibly dangerous. Ice had not been cleared near the doorway making entrance/exit from the building precarious especially at night. You had the sense no one was caring for the building.
Overall a pleasant place to stay, but at best only OK. The impression was that not sufficient thought/care had been put into the quality of the accomodation.

My family (five adults and two children) had a great time at the Chateau in Breckenridge. The apartment was spotless, large and well appointed. We stayed three nights, cooked-in, ate-out, and rested completely. I highly recommend the Chateau to any family looking for high-quality accommodations in the mountains of Colorado.

We liked the location with such easy access to skiing. The views were
wonderful. However, this unit was a big disappointment. All of the
carpeting in the bathrooms needs to be replaced with more sanitary
tile. The master bathroom carpet was so badly stained that we
covered it with towels before we could walk on it. The knob in one of
the showers needs to be replaced as you couldn't adjust the water
temperature. The sofa bed was very tired. This condo needs a major
udate. For what we paid per night, we expected much better
accomodations. We will not rent here again.
