Renting the Paradise Meadow Lodge for a week proved to be a great decision. The home is beautiful, spacious and chock full of added features. Everyone loved watching TV and movies in the theatre and having HBO and Starz was a nice touch. The pool table and hot tub also got a lot of daily use. There is a main hiking/biking trail just a 4-minute walk from the house just be aware it is somewhat of a steep incline. Proximity to Main Street was a scenic and enjoyable 8 minutes or so. The gas grill worked great as did the WiFi. Having a garage code on the garage made coming and going easy as you didn't have to keep up with a key. The house is in a beautiful spot at the end of a short private road and only has a neighbor to 1 side with nothing but the beautiful forest to look at from the multiple balconies. There's a separate bedroom with a bunk bed set that features full-size mattresses and 2 additional twin beds with private bath so the kiddos can command their own private space. All in all, I'd rent this house again and would recommend it. We had a group of 10 people (6 adults and 4 kids) and the house was perfectly accommodating. I'm only rating the "location" very good because of the proximity to only 1 trail. Our experience last summer entailed a house that had proximity to multiple trails with most being flat that were right out the back door.

We arrived to a fully stocked (thank you Breck and Call) and super clean house on Christmas night. Skis were delivered promptly the next morning for those of us who rented (thank you Black Tie Skis)The house was toasty and inviting. There was room for all 12 of us and then some, as well as private space for whoever needed it. We used the Free Bus up the driveway and around a bend) to take us everywhere from the Gondola to shopping in town. The setting is picturesque, with mountains everywhere you look. We cooked in every night, the kitchen was nice and big and had everything we needed. Check-in was easy, keys left in a lock box for us, and check-out easier. A note to East Coasters - elevation is very high - hydrate! Wonderful vacation!

Beautiful log home nestled in the woods. Great accommodations that provided space for our family (age 6 mo. to 89 years young) to relax and enjoy each others company. Enough room to find a quiet spot to rest as well. Kitchen was large enough for a group to hang out and well equipped so that we were able to prepare food for ourselves and occasionally for other family members staying the area. Everything was clean and up to date. We had a small problem with the refrigerator and someone was there right away to take care of it. Breckenridge is a great town for family reunions - lots to do for all ages and many great places to eat.

The house was wonderful. We had five adults and five children. The children were 9, 8, 6, 6 years, and the baby was 11 months. The kids had a great time playing pool (but no cue sticks), watching movies (Toy Story, Alice in Wonderland), and swimming in the hot tub. The house had one close neighbor but no one was there, we loved the privacy and didn't worry about roudy kids disturbing the neighbors. Grandma & Granddad had our own quarters on the upper lever that were very spacious. Everything was included in the home that we could possibly need. A little grocery shopping was all that was necessary.
The weather was perfect but the house had nothing to do with that.
Only two things were a disappointment. The windows looked straight into a forest, we were hoping for a view. Also with five children we really needed the washer and dryer and they were not working properly.
