"The location is great. The slopes are right outside the backdoor. The place was very clean and spacious. I wish we could have gotten in earlier but otherwise it was a very good experience and I plan to go back."
Summit Vacations Response:
"Thank you for your comments. It is a great location. We do have a procedure to get an early check in when you make your reservation. It is often impossible to get an early check in, especially in the winter months, on the day of arrival. We have a 2 step cleaning and inspection process, and we are always willing to let guests in early, once our process is complete. The scheduled early check ins are prioritized, and have a better chance of getting in earlier, than last minute requests."
Additional amenities include: ski in/ski out, sofabed, skis can be stored in unit, no grill, condominium, 32" lcd flat screen TV, communal indoor & outdoor hot tubs, 1 1/2 blocks to main street, communal heated pool, 27" flat screen TV, elevator, 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom, 3/4 bathroom (shower), washer/dryer in complex, queen bed in master, sleeps 2 - 4....Read more

We did not have a flush toilet for our entire stay. When we arrived on December 25 around 10:30 the toilet wouldn't work. We realize that things break, but as easy as it is to repair or replace a toilet, this is totally unacceptable. We were told that the owners would not authorize replacing the toilet. Maintenance patched it in the same way they had patched it before we arrived knowing it would not hold. It flushed about three times and quit. We were told each day it would be repaired the next day, but was not repaired for 5 nights. We used the toilet in room 114 on the other side of the building for 5 days and 5 nights. We were told we could move to this condo, but it was very worn and the bed accomodations were not what we needed. We were also offered a condo across town which was not ski in ski out. We flew so we didn't have a car and had coordinated our accomodations with another family staying close by. A lot of time had been spent selecting this condo. Trail end is a great location, but I would recommend using another management company. We were refunded 1 night out of 5.
Please accept our apologies both for the condition of the toilet and the late response. If you could see to booking with us again, at any of our 140 properties, we would extend to you a 15% discount as a possible way to make amends.

Trails End is located in the heart of Breckenridge with most everything within walking distance. We had foxes playing in the parking lot and in a vacant lot downtown. There is a lot to do in this area. It was a nice unit for the price. Summit vacation staff are excellent to work with.
