We really enjoyed our week at 230 Sheep Pond Road, August 17-23, 2013 It is a wonderful home, with impressive furnishing and incredibly beautiful views of Sheep Pond from all the bedrooms, especially at sunset. The back porch view is spectacular and a great place for outdoor eating. The house has many amenities and is in a good location for the Cape. We all enjoyed the bathing beach at Sheep Pond, a 10 minutes walk, especially the children. The pond is very clear and clean and the bathing beach has a roped off area for children and a dock for diving off in deep water, as well as sand for children to play in. We even made 'smores in the fireplace. Our family had a great time!

Start off with a beautiful clean lake, add a new house built like a cozy old style cape and this place makes a great base for a family vacation. A great deck overlooking the lake made for relaxing mornings and nice sunset evenings. The place is close to the ocean beaches and main roads, not buried in the woods like other lake house. On site nicities like beach chairs, bikes and a even a portable grill saves valuable packing space for the drive down.
The owners seem committed to continuing to improve the rental so leave your helpful suggestions. We plan to return and can recommend.

We have spent five days in this perfect house with our three daughters, two teenagers and an eight years' old little girl. After a few busy days visiting Boston, this was the perfect choice: awsome location view beautiful view on Sheep pond from every room. Acces to the private beach on the pond where you can swim is a real plus. The house is also close to nice villages such as Brewster, Orleans and Chatham. And the magnificent beaches on the ocean are also few miles away to drive or cycle. There were many houses on Cape Cod and reserving fromEurope was a kind of lottery, but the owner.s kindness made the difference in email exchanges and i did not regret it. A very good memory!

I spent hours on Trip advisor looking for a house with water views and was available at Christmas. I found this house and contacted the owners to see if it was available on short notice. The house is lovely, warm, cozy and decorated with asian antiques. It is located in a quiet location on a beautiful, large, clean pond. There are views of the pond from all rooms. It was easy to spend hours daydreaming while watching the pond, trees, birds, and wonderful sunsets. The master bathroom has a beautiful walk-in shower. The master bedroom is very relaxing and has a door that opens to the deck. All of the bedrooms are a good size. The house sits on a cliff right on the pond, has a big front yard and two small, private beaches within walking distance. The house provides all the modern amenities. I won't have to spend hours looking for a house to rent again. I found a great one.

This beautiful house provides all the conveniences of a modern home while being built, and decorated, as a truly historic Cape Cod house.
We stayed here with our family - 8 adults, 2 kids and a baby, and it was simply perfect. Everything was available, the owners were extremely helpful and flexible and the pond (sheep pond) has the clearest water the Cape has to offer. It was wonderful to take the 3 min walk down to the water and have the kids play on the private neighbourhood beach in all safety while enjoying the view and building sand castles. The veranda offers the perfect romantic spot for late evening dinners (and there were no bugs!) while providing what our entire family will always remember as 'the most beautiful view on planet earth'. Can't wait to go back sometime soon!
