“Beautiful, well appointed chalet in good location” The pictures on the web site do not do the chalet justice. We had two families in the chalet for 8 days, and found it to be very comfortable. It is spread over 4 levels so there is never any feeling of being crowded - lots of space for everyone, except in the kitchen. These are the pros and cons: The Pros: - great location - 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 comfortable sofa beds - ski-in and walk to ski-out - well appointed with plates, glasses and wine glasses, utensils and cooking pans and pots - pool table is good and popular - nice fireplace - two balconies - gas BBQ off main floor deck - heated floors are great - the garage off the main floor and extra parking are super convenient - the complex was very quiet - almost no noise at all The Cons: - the ski-in and ski-out is not for beginners - there is a hot tub on the deck but it is not functional (we knew this in advance) - there is a communal hot tub but it is down the road and not convenient, so we never used it - the shower heads in the 3 showers are pretty bad - desperately need to be upgraded - the kitchen, while well appointed, is only big enough for one person to be in it at a time all in all, would go back again!

“Clean, convenient location, good value” Our family of four stayed here for a week in July. The place was clean and spacious, exactly as described. You can walk to the Blackcomb base where the family Adventure Zone and Blackcomb lifts are in about 5 minutes, and Whistler Village in about 15 minutes, half that time if you bike. Lost Lake is also about a 10 minute walk away. While relatively close to everything, it is far enough away to be very quiet at nights. It was nice to have a garage to store our bikes and other gear, but it is a little small to park a car unless you have a compact, and then there is no room to store anything else if a car is in there. No matter, there is covered parking about 100 feet away and you can park in front of the unit to unload. The condo is well furnished and the kitchen well stocked with utensils. WiFi is fast (I clocked it consistently at 15 Mbps downlink on speedtest) and there is Telus cable TV and a large flatscreen with a DVR in the living room - useful because we could record World Cup matches to watch in the evenings. Overall, this is a great place, but here are some minor issues/suggestions: - Balcony does not have a table. It would be nice to sit outside to eat there in the summer evenings. - Windows do not have screens. It was particularly hot the week we stayed so we needed to keep the windows open at night, and the lack of screens meant annoying flying insects got into the house. - We did not find the master bedroom mattress to be that comfortable.

“A great Spring Skiing Getaway in the middle of January!!” My family and friends had a wonderful stay this past weekend at Mr. Wiedemann's beautiful home located just a short walk off the "Hwy 33" ski run under the Bullet Express Chair (had there been fresh snow on the roads we could have skied in/out). We only had 6 people in our group consisting of 4 University students plus my wife and I, but the home could easily have handled more. The extra elbow room made it that much cozier for us anyway with great spots to quietly sit and study in front of the fireplace or loft, or to accommodate the whole gang for a boisterous sit down feast of slow cooked chilli after a post ski day soak in the hot tub. The Wiedemann's were gracious enough to leave a nice welcoming gift which was a surprising wonderful touch. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a well cared for place to stay for a ski vacation to consider this location. The Goddard clan.

“Peaceful Oasis” We had the extreme pleasure of staying at Patricia and Scott's condo. What a magical place. The location could not have been better. Waking up in the morning with the ocean alongside the master bedroom and then spending the day gazing out at the unobstructed views. It took me an hour to jealously wander about the condo in awe of all of the perfect details. Everything was though of - you could easily host a dinner party for 8 here and not be missing a thing. We have stayed at the most exclusive resorts on the Island, but never have we felt as if we were truly coming "home" when we returned to our suite, like we did here. We have adopted the condo, and I have adopted the perfectly situated chaise lounge for hours of reading and gazing. It is dead quiet, with lots to observe in the ocean... that bay is always changing. We did a short (6km) hike nearby and strolled on the beach. Dug up and steamed clams as well as shucked oysters off the beach and pan fried them. Cannot wait to return! Thanks Patricia and Scott! “Amazing owners and fantastic accommodations !!” Stayed in this beautiful condo overlooking breathtaking views of False Creek and Downtown Vancouver skyline. First off let me say what an absolute pleasure it was to deal with Sandy (the owner) . She greeted me with a big smile and had excellent people skills . I felt welcome from the begining , and Sandy really put me at ease. The condo is decked out with high end appliances and has tons of room. A very safe and secure location bustled in Olympic Village, every ammentidy was within a short walk. I was I'll for most of my stay and Sandy checked up on me everyday to make sure I was okay and had everything that I needed. I highly recommend staying here and i can't wait for another opportunity to do so!! Cheers, Ryan

“Well appointed, convenient location.” Market Square was a great location, close to groceries, restaurants, shopping,coffee shops, free shuttle, Olympic Plaza and liquor store. Building was very secure and free parking convenient to unit. Unit was well laid out and kitchen was well equipped with every thing needed for our stay. Excellent entertainment system. Gas fireplace, drying rack very useful. Lots of shelves and hooks. New dishwasher :). Nice hot tub. Dave was an awesome host who was very responsive and helpful to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

“Great experience” I've used Holiday Whistler twice - one for a summer trip and one fora ski trip. Accommodation during both were excellent and I was very pleased with the service that Henry and team provided (met me on arrival, always accessible if I had questions, helped arrange activities etc). Some comments on each below: Summer accommodation: -Two beautiful houses that can each sleep 5+ -Houses 5 min walk from each other (if you group is bigger and want to be close to each other) -10 min walk to the village -Wifi Winter accommodation: -Condo right across the street from Blackcomb mountain (less than 5 min walk) -Ample room that sleeps 8 (2 full bedroom/bath + loft). -Bus stop right outside of the complex that takes you to the village (5-10 min ride) -Shared hot tub on the premises -Wifi I highly recommend Holiday Whistler if you are planning a group trip!

“Just ok” The location is great. Place is starting to look aged. Had ants but mgmt responded when notified. Door to bathroom on second floor is very difficult to close. Toaster didn't work. Had friends at the Hilton in a 2 bedroom suite with kitchenette which which if I rented two would have been a similar price to the townhouse and at the Hilton I would have had access to a pool and hot tub.

“What a great find!” My husband and I stayed here with our toddler and some extended family in an adjacent suite. Everybody had such an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Both suites were well-equipped and clean. The location was perfect - close to ocean, downtown and Cook Street Village. The host, Sarah, went above and beyond to help make our stay memorable. She was available to answer questions we had about touring around, was quick to replenish supplies when needed, and even allowed my daughter (who loves animals) play with her gentle dog who stays in the backyard. Overall, I couldn't recommend this more highly. You'll be happy with your choice to stay here.
