Additional Location Information

Carroll Gardens is an old Italian enclave that has reached a crossroads. Many of the older Italian neighbors are still here, now joined by transplants from the midwest, Manhattan, France, and elsewhere around the world. This is a community of food and literature lovers where boutique shops and restaurants abound. We live along tree-lined streets, and near trendy neighborhoods like Red Hook, Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, and Cobble Hill. We are near Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Prospect Park Zoo, and Brooklyn Bridge Park which has swimming, volleyball, playground, biking, and so much more. We're 15 minutes from lower Manhattan and 30 minutes from Times Square by subway. You can get from all three NYC airports to our apartment by mass transit (email me for directions or checkout the MTA Trip Planner website), or you can take a taxi.

Parking is free on all streets except the shopping blocks of Court and Smith. It is usually easy to find a spot on the street and luckily, alternate side parking only happens here once each week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30am-1:00pm.)

I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about the apartment or neighborhood. Feel free to inquire!
