Charming interior with high log beams, two bedrooms (a king and a twin) (sleeps 4), kitchen, microwave oven, eat-in dining/living room with stone fireplace and hide-a-bed sofa (sleeps 2 extra), an office with desk, and a bathroom with tub and shower. Cottage Maximum 6. No pets, thank-you.

Additional Location Information

At the heart of the Blue Hill Peninsula. Central to shops in Blue Hill, groceries, farm stands, galleries, food co-op, laundry facilities and a large selection of restaurants. Nearby is Stonington with its own working waterfront, fresh caught lobsters, crabmeat and more. This is an area rich in the arts. There is Kneisel Hall school of music in the summer, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts on Deer Isle and Woodenboat School in nearby Brooklin. Yet, this is a rural, laid back setting with parks and sanctuaries in which to hike and be with nature entirely. We are about 50 miles from Bangor and an hours drive to Acadia National Park through Ellsworth and Bar Harbor.
