Response from the owner I am so pleased that you were delighted with your stay in Broughton-in-Furness. Locals believe that the Furness area is the relatively undiscovered gem of the Lake District. We have both mountains and coast and often better weather than the central and northern Lakes! I would love to welcome you back to the south Lakes - and very much hope you don't leave it another 40 years for a return visit!
