- "The view is spectacular. The cabin is gorgeous." - Edward, Stayed September 2015
- "Exactly as advertised. This house was wonderful. The view was incredible, it was clean, well built, and in a terrific location. The place has tons of room but isn't overwhelming for a couple. Our two dogs refused to go up or down the metal spiral staircase, which was funny. It is centrally located to the NOC, Bryson City, Sylva, Cherokee, and more all within a very pleasant 10-20 minute mountain drive. The road getting to the house is perfectly fine. It is fully paved with plenty of room and pull-offs. Our Prius made it up fully loaded with absolutely no problems." - The Sincoffs, Stayed August 2015

This cabin is secluded, private, beautiful view and the amenities of the cabin is just like being at home no need to leave once you arrive if you bring groceries. This is the third cabin we have stayed at in the area and so far the best!
Only comcern would be the driveway/parking was narrow would be concerned if more then one car.
Thank you John and Dana, for taking the time to review High Haven Cabin.
We're glad you enjoyed your stay. It's interesting that you say the parking area was narrow -- there is parking not only at the back of the house, but also further down in the gravel lot where you can access the lowest level.
Please keep us in mind for future vacations - as a repeat guest you will receive a 10% discount off any of our cabins.

We had an awesome time in this Cabin! Every view from this cabin could be considered "Post Card Perfect." All the features inside the house were awesome too. The pool table downstairs kept us pretty busy at night, as well as the hot tub on the deck. We felt like we were really close to the stars when we were sitting out on the deck at night. The drive up and down the mountain could be considered an adeventrue itself. We've never been on a road like that, and I must say it's pretty nerve racking in a good way! The overall experience was very positive and we look forward to coming back to town next year for our 3rd year in a row. Great Smoky Cabin rentals has always been very helpful and informative during and after our rental experience. Thanks...see you again next year.
Thank you, Sarah, for taking the time to review High Haven Cabin.
We appreciate your repeat business and look forward to having you again!

Beautiful cabin with an extraordinary view. We had everything we could possible need. We played with the games and enjoyed the hot tub. The pool table was a lot of fun. Cooking on the grill was a lot of fun and the food was excellent. The only thing we could have wanted was some chairs down by the pool table. Other than that, we couldn't have asked for a better place.
Thank you, Christy, for taking the time to review High Haven Cabin.

This was my first visit to the Smokies in many years and my first time renting a cabin.
The cabin was a spacious, high quality accommodation with a gorgeous view. Well worth the price, and a wonderful retreat. The only drawback was the very steep switchback roads to the top of the mountain that ended in a drive with very little turnaround room (last cabin on the top of the mountain - please finish paving the turnaround!).
My wife and 7 year old daughter were also on the trip. Since we were staying in a cabin on top of the mountain, it was up to us to book our own entertainment. The web links from Great Smokey Cabin Rentals, as well as the Bryson City website provided a treasure trove of entertainment options.
In the week we were there, we went rafting, tubing, hiked to a number of waterfalls, fished for trout in streams and a fee fishing pond, went horseback riding, rode the train, panned for gems and went hiking in the Joyce Kilmer forest.
My 7 year old daughter had the time of her life, and of course, that meant her parents did, too!
Staying in a cabin and researching and booking all your own activities is certainly more trouble than staying at a resort with all the amenities included. But, the cabin route leads to a far more personalized trip that will be very memorable for years to come.
My wife and daughter are already talking enthusiastically about going back again soon.
The location is great, with plenty of fun things to do. Thanks for a great vacation experience! We'll be back.
Thank you for your review.
Unfortunately, we all have to put up with those pesky ladybugs from October until Spring in this area. Ladybugs love houses that are sunny, so those are usually the ones with a fantastic view.
We are sorry you had a problem with the angle of the driveway.
Here in the mountains, we have many things to consider when building a home, driveways are one of them. Angle and incline can be especially difficult. It is much easier on flat land.
We hope you will consider Great Smokys Cabin Rentals for your next Smoky Mountain Vacation.

We have stayed here a couple of times and have loved our time away! The cabin is very comfortable, close to Bryson City and white water activities. We also loved the hot tub, fireplace on the cold winter nights and in general the peace and quietness that comes with the cabin. Can not wait to visit again and again!
Thank you for your review. We hope you enjoy your upcoming stay at Bear Hug Cabin as well!

This cabin was absolutely gorgeous! Everyting, just everything about it was perfect (even the ladybugs)! The drive up the mountains was an adventure for the kids. The surrounding area was peaceful and private. Waking up everyday to purple sunrises and engulfed in clouds was so relaxing. The gas fireplace was adorable, and it really did heat up the whole upper cabin. In this cabin, you don't get the rinky dink appliances you do at other cabins. It has a chef's stove & oven with great cookware available. The pool table was a bonus as the entire 1st floor. Every floor had a view. From the teenagers, to my toddler daughter, to my husband and myself, we had a blast. There's not one thing I'd want to improve, not one thing I'd want to change. I hope this cabin is available next year, because we are definately coming back!
Ps- bring a GPS unless you are used to driving around wooded areas. We kept getting lost once we exited out of the "subdivision".
