The barn was delightful. Sue greeted us on arrival and showed us around and most importantly how to operate the hot tub. It was an authentic barn conversion with modern details. It has a dishwasher, washing-machine and underfloor heating. The log burner is enchanting and really makes the place feel cosy. Devine

Left on Sep 19, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Loved this little gem - full of character but not stuffy. If you are very tall you'll need to duck your head in the hall upstairs because it slops with the roof line, and watch very little children on the stairs which do not have a rail. Downstairs wet room shower is DEVINE. We stayed for a week with our 8 and 10 year old and it was just perfect. Beautiful English garden outside and a charming …

This is the first review as we were apparently the first guests!

Everything is even nicer than it looks on the website. The yurt is very solid (we had very strong winds and rain but no creaking/flapping), extremely clean and well thought out. It's quickly heated by the gas fire when required and well-lit. Hot water is on-demand so filling the bath is no problem. The fridge is quiet and there'…

    Ratty's Retreat

Left on Oct 30, 2011 for a stay in September 2011

This was the last place that we stayed at during our trip to the UK. If this had been the first place we stayed at, we would not have wanted to go anywhere else. This was probably the nicest place we have stayed in since we stayed at a 5 star hotel in Hawaii. The cottage was set in a perfectly beautiful setting in Southwest England. It is an hour train ride into London from here. We also visited …

    Perfect for the Cotswolds

Left on Sep 22, 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Just like a home from home. Clean, tidy and very cozy, everything you would expect and more. Cannot praise it enough.

The village is typically Cotswold and very quaint and has a excellent pub for meals.

It is a mid terrace property and occasionally you can hear the neighbours as they tend to rise earlier than holiday-makers, but that apart - superb!
