This charming one-bedroom apartment is in the very heart of Budapest's only district with a definite Art Deco touch. Surrounded by cafés, cute little shops and within reach of almost every main attraction of the capital, this newly renovated and furnished west-facing flat doesn't only offer you comfort and cosiness: it is the best haven for discovering Budapest.

Situated on the sixth floor with a sunny balcony looking towards a beautiful street full of trees, one of the most traditional and famous parks in town, the flat does not only offer sightseeing possibilities. As it is very close to the Danube and the Margaret Island with it's running court of over 5 kilometers, don't hesitate to bring your running shoes even while on a shorter trip.

There are many public transport facilities at stone's throw away - without it's noise or disturbance: two trolley lines right in the street taking you to the Heroes' Square or Széchenyi thermal baths, the Zoo or the Museum of Fine Arts. The public bike-sharing station is just around the corner, one metro and three tramlines are at five minutes walk.

Enjoy your Lavazza espresso on the sunny balcony, use the free wireless internet connection, watch International tv-programs on the brand new flatscreen smart tv or take a bath in the comfy bathroom. Don't bother packing towels, we're happy to provide them for you, just as shampoo or even nail polish remover. The kitchen is well equipped and basic ingredients (such as olive oil or salt) are also always available.

We speak English, French, German and Italian, and we are keen on helping you in whatever information or help you need during your stay.

“Comfortable and cozy”

Very good location, the flat is situated in residential area but only 15mins walk to the Parliament building. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Response from the owner I am so glad you liked your stay in Budapest and particularly in my apartment, thank you very much for the kind words and nice review! One tiny correction: the elevator "case" (I mean the original, wooden "box" of it) truly dates from the 1930's, when the house was built - but the machinery itself is absolutely new - so we might say the elevator only looks old :) I personally like it a lot this way, and I'm also glad that it could stay close to the original (unlike in many houses in the surrounding where the elevator has been completely removed and not only mechanically renewed, as this one. However, I can understand that for those who feel unconfortable in elevators, this might be a downside - as the flat is on the 6th floor.) I adore anything that's Art Deco, any piece of art or handcraft that dates from that era :) Thanks again for your kindness, I'm looking forward to seeing you anytime soon!
