Charming apartment on top floor of very central 100yr old building - walk to Obelisco or Recoleta in under 15 minutes, or use the nearby subte (metro) lines and buses to go almost anywhere in the city. Great for people who want to see all of the city (or dance tango until dawn) and then come home to a quiet place with comfortable beds. Building has an elevator.
Two double bedrooms each with individual hot and cold air-conditioning, lovely bed linens and feather pillows and duvets. Nice towels and bathrobes too. One has a private balcony, and the apartment has access to the communal terrace (on the same floor). The 'quiet room' off the living area can be a third bedroom (without air conditioning) if three singles want to use the apartment. Bathroom has full tub and shower with endless gas hot water so you can take nice long showers after walking around the city all day or dancing all night.
Linen is changed weekly when the apartment is cleaned, but extra clean bed linen, towels and consumables are available on request. Nice little things in the bathroom include shampoo and shower gels, hairdrier and straightener. And the kitchen has a good starter kit including coffee, tea, milk etc when you arrive. Friendly English speaking owner lives 50 metres away and will come at any time to give advice or fix any problems. Or just to chat if you want that.
This apartment has a telephone and wifi, plenty of reading material, yoga mat, radio, and even. And nice little extras, like maps, city and bus guides, umbrellas, first aid kit. No TV - most of our guests have better things to do.
Sorry, but this apartment is not suitable for small children as the balcony and terrace are not child-proof and it would be a long way to fall. And not suitable for anyone who could not use the stairs in an emergency (remember this is on the top floor).
No smoking inside but guests may smoke on the balcony or terrace.
Early check in and/or late check out may be available. If this is important to you, please let us know.TripAdvisor property ID 3089334...Read more

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment and would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a 'home away from home' base with some peace and quiet whilst exploring Ba!
The apartment has everything you'll ever need from well equipped kitchenette, toiletries, information on sights, computer / mobile phone you can use to even tango shoes!
In comparison to the traditional B&B;, we particularly enjoyed the freedom of having an apartment where we could enjoy our breakfast (that the hostess, Rachel had stocked up) whenever we wanted. Having Rachel at hand when we needed local knowledge (she lives near by) was also invaluable as first time visitors to Ba - not to mention getting insight into the things such as the Ba way of living - things you don't find in the guidebooks!

I stayed here for a month over the summer. Awaiting our arrival was a delightful host with lots of information about the area and about what to do in Buenos aires. The apartment was a relaxing place to return to at the end of busy days seeing and enjoying Buenos aires - close to everything but far enough away for a peaceful sleep. The kitchen provided great appliances and just enough to prepare simple meals when we needed a night at home. The beds were blissfully comfortable and oh the joy of great bed linen! I was here with my husband but was a really nice size for two couples with the little room off the main living room so you could get some space to yourself. I recommend this as a great place to stay and plan to stay here again on my next trip to Buenos aires.
