Dinas Dinlle is situated 7.3 miles SW of the historic town of Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, craft shops and numerous restaurants and bars.

Directions: Take the A487 (T) southbound through Bontnewydd to the roundabout at Llanwnda. Take the A499 (Pwllheli) continue for 2.2 miles to the turning on the right signposted, Dinas Dinlle, Beach, Caernarfon Airport and Air World, continue for 1.4 miles into the village, wendon is on the right hand side opposite the car park for the beach.

Wendon is located in the settlement of Dinas Dinlle on the road to Caernarfon Airport and Air World, with its aviation museum. Pleasure flights may be taken around the castles of the North Wales Coast, Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula, or indulge in some flying lessons. To the east of the airport is “Y Foryd”, a tidal estuary and birdwatcher’s paradise, which has nature reserve status. To the west of the airport the coastal path turns into a range of dunes that run for about 2 miles to the tip of Morfa Dinlle and the 18th century Napoleonic Fort Belan, being the only fortress of the American war of Independence built this side of the Atlantic.

Cenrally located, Wendon is an ideal base for the exploration of the Isle of Anglesey, the North Wales Coast, Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula.
