“A wonderful place to build memories” My wife and I recently stayed at the Crown Point beach house with our sons and their families. Spending this special time with our boys and the grand kids was enhanced by this beach house, which came completely equipped with more than we expected. Yvonne and Eric went above and beyond with their generousity. Would I recommend this beach house? Absolutely.

“Great time!” What an incredible home, and I mean home. It felt like you walked into your own home, comfortable, great kitchen for the family feast, with a dining room table that all 10 of us could enjoy! “Roomy, bright and cozy cabin in a beautiful setting - perfect ge” We had a really fun and relaxing few days at this cabin - it's minutes away from cute shops and great restaurants. Inside it has cozy furnishings, a washer/dryer and everything you could need in the kitchen. We kept a big fire going most of the time - especially when watching movies on the big screen tv! Outside, there's a big back deck, perfect for outdoor activities and barbeques. The yard right behind the deck is a great sledding hill and an there's a small alpine slide close by, not to mention the Bear Mountain slopes! Would recommend it for families, or for a quiet relaxing getaway.

“Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.

“I will always miss waking up to that view” This house is amazing. Intimately connected with nature and the ocean, and 15 minutes from Mill Valley and the freeway. The view is southeast, Muir Beach, the wild coast with waves smashing against huge rocks, the sunrise, and, in the distance, San Francisco. Even though you are high on a bluff, you go to sleep to the sound of the surf and the foghorn. The house is perfect, just built in 2010, chef's kitchen with all amenities, whirlpool tub, two bedrooms down, and two daybeds in the living room. Lots of floor to ceiling glass, and a spectacular view to fill them. The house is very quiet, almost at the end of a tiny road, completely private. This is the place to get away from it all, especially if you're with someone you want to get to know intimately :) There is wi-fi and satellite television, but if there were ever a place not to use them, this is it.
