Our Gite has 2 bedrooms but can sleep up to six with a sofa bed in the lounge.

The accommodation is on one level with a comfortable lounge area, with french doors leading outside onto a patio, garden with garden furniture & bbq. With a well equipped kitchen, double bedroom, bedroom 2 has bunk beds (which can be made into 2 singles) with space for a cot or extra bed, bathroom with shower cubicle, sink, toilet & washing machine.

The Hamlet of La Tulliere has 8 houses in a rural surroundings.

We are just outside the Village of Le Gast on the edge of The Forest of St-Sever, the forest is 1.550 hectares, planted with Oak, Chestnut, Beech, Douglas & Sliver fir trees, it's home to Deer, Wild Boar, Foxes, & Badgers. With lots of hiking trials for those who want to walk or to just have a picnic. In a clearing in the forest is a small Monastery built in 1214. On the southern edge of Forest is the lake of Le Gast it's a haven for birdwatchers with Ducks, Moorhens, Coots, Herons, & migratory birds.

Their's lots to do in the area, ramblers can walk for miles along old railway trails, or chemis, historic battlefields, d day beaches, pegasus bridge, bungy jumping, rock climbing, golf, zoo's, mont-saint michel, alligator bay, aquarium, lots of sandy beaches.

Calvados is famous for apples and pears, which are made into Cider, Perry & of course Calvados (apple brandy) from which the region gets it's name
