Superb appartment in beautiful countryside

Excellently well kitted out apartment (fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher...all the way to slow cooker), with lovely furniture and decor, also immaculately clean. It has all you could think to need on a week away.

Much neede break

We had a lovely weekend break at Tranmire Cottage, we had a very warm welcome from the owners,it was very nice inside with everything you could possibly need. We used the log burning fire every night,the bath/shower in the bedroom was great ! We had a lovely stay here Kirkby Moorside is a lovely place and the cottage was a perfect base. There is a great playground just a minute from the cottage and great dog walking. The cottage was just lovely a real home from home, one we would definately like to return to.

Lovely cottage. Located on the edge of a small village which is only two miles from a town with many shops and restaurants. The cottage itself was spotless when we arrived. Cosy yet felt spacious as each of the five rooms was set out on its own level. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, including soft duvets, fire wood and a much welcomed bottle of wine.

Nice secluded little cottage in moorland countryside

This is a nice little cottage. It is not exactly spacious downstairs but quite adequate for two people, assumin gyou'll be going out most days. The bedroom is nice and spacious. Pity about the bathroom being downstairs (especially in the middle of the night!). It is equipped very well and I had no problems.

A wonderful relaxing holiday.

We have stayed in High View Cottage on four occasions now, I think it's four and we have booked again for this month for a short stay and again for a week in May 2010.

That says what we think to the cottage. It is always clean and tidy, warm and well looked after and we have never had any cause for any complaint of any sort.

The cottage was lovely.Set in a very pretty village with all the amenities we needed.We stayed in Feburary but the cottage was warm and cosy.
Our 2 boys really enjoyed themselves and didnt mention their computers for a week.
The cottage had a great kitchen and the bedrooms were really nice.
Our only complaint was that the dining chairs were a bit ricketty!!

Excellent situation for the central moors

Good situation but you need a car with good clearance for the track. Walk straight from the house so just park the car up. Good pub at end of lane with plenty of good choice within a few miles.
Comfortable home, clean and tidy. Heating works well in winter plus a coal fire.
The coast is 40 minutes away - best of both worlds.

From the 'word go' we found that the anticipation of our needs was excelent. The cottage was perfectly clean and well maintained. The food parcel provided was of the highest quality.
