“The most decadent, relaxing and quite holidays on the Pacific O” The condo was fully stocked. There were games for kids as well as small rabbits running around the grounds. The view of the Ocean was superb. There was nothing left to want for. The decor was was tasteful and very comfortable. I would and have recommended this property to others. The location was amazing. A real jewel tucked away.

“Fantastic House -- Lake, Poor” Yes, the house is wonderful. Beautiful views abound, it's well stocked with everything you'd want, and extremely clean. A five-star place. That said, the lake's dreadful, in our opinion. It's murky-black. We did go swimming in it, however, but it's so murky you can't see your thighs in the water, much less the bottom. Our twenty-something son wanted to swim across it, and I kept thinking, if he goes under you'd never see him. As it was, he did swim across and we followed in a row boat. We would definitely return were it not for the lake.

“Sills is best place to stay in Minocqua!” Ron and Lori are the best hosts around! They run a First Class resort! My husband and I stay there every summer and reserve at least 6 months in advance to be sure we get a place! Location is awesome! Beautiful lake in back, BearSkin trail in front and downtown is less than a block away. You don't even have to drive if you don't want to. We are so glad we found this resort and would never stay anywhere else in Minocqua!

“Excellent relaxing place to be with family and friends any time” This is a great place to spend time at durning the summer. It is quiet, relaxing, affordable, newly updated, and surrounded by beautiful trees. There are many things to do there with an awesome sandy beach and access right to the lake. We enjoy laying on the beach, swimming, playing beach volleyball, and having access to the pantoon, paddle boats, and lake raft. There are even docks where you can keep your own boat while staying there. With all the trees and wildlife we enjoy going for walks. It is located close to Mapplewood State Park, various resturants, grocery stores, and gas stations in the nearby towns. They also have a store located right on the property with a variety of foods and items just incase you forgot anything. We also enjoy going there year round to spend time with our family during our family reunion, and on the holidays! It's a spacious place to have larger gatherings for Thanksgiving and Christmas! We go there several times a year and have encourged our family and friends to stay there too! Steve and Holly are excellent hosts!!

“My 30 day Military Leave from afghanistan at Sanctuaire” Hi Mona- I'm back in afghanistan. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Sanctuaire. My family loved it! The house was wonderful, a dream come true. I set up the camera one morning in the rain and pointed it at the lake to capture the peace and serenity of Sanctuaire, just so I could have a piece of it to take back here with me. “This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Super Friendly” Great folks running this place. They really give the home town experience with amenities of a major hotel. This property is right next to a beautiful lake. The options are great for either the relaxed weekend or if you want to water skiing or out on a boat to fish it is all there. Really pleased with vacation this has turned into and relaxation is the key!
