“Stunning & Relaxing -Possibilties are Endless” We stayed here for 5 days & 4 nights for my birthday. Out stay was amazing and full of lots of possibilities. We were able to go out and explore the coast for hours/kms. If we wanted to take easy the cabin was beautifully furnished(Satellite TV included) with an gorgeous view of the Skeena Inverness. With Prince Rupert only a 20 min drive away we could have a day exploring cow bay, the port & Butze Rapids. Not only was our accommodations & options fantastic, so were the owners. They were friendly, accommodating & rebuilt the cabins themselves. Justine & Marc were outstanding hosts. Cassiar Cannery is an amazing get-away for those who want to see the Canadian coast or relax in the peace of nature or are outdoor enthusiasts. The Cabins can be a nice cozy trip for 2 or fun family outdoor excursion. I can't say enough good thing to friends & family about this lodging, location, & people.

“Peaceful Oasis” We had the extreme pleasure of staying at Patricia and Scott's condo. What a magical place. The location could not have been better. Waking up in the morning with the ocean alongside the master bedroom and then spending the day gazing out at the unobstructed views. It took me an hour to jealously wander about the condo in awe of all of the perfect details. Everything was though of - you could easily host a dinner party for 8 here and not be missing a thing. We have stayed at the most exclusive resorts on the Island, but never have we felt as if we were truly coming "home" when we returned to our suite, like we did here. We have adopted the condo, and I have adopted the perfectly situated chaise lounge for hours of reading and gazing. It is dead quiet, with lots to observe in the ocean... that bay is always changing. We did a short (6km) hike nearby and strolled on the beach. Dug up and steamed clams as well as shucked oysters off the beach and pan fried them. Cannot wait to return! Thanks Patricia and Scott! “We all love the place” This house is both casual and luxurious. The lakeside house has great beds, nice sheets, a well-equipped kitchen, an amazing open and scenic living room, a lovely garden surrounding the house and lots to do in the area. I've enjoyed walking on and exploring the area along the shore, wading out into the lake to swim, relaxing in the hammock, and cycling on the many country roads. I've stayed there several times, with and without my kids, and we all love the place.

“A Little Taste of Heaven” This was our 8th trip to the Resort, and have stayed in this condo the last 5 years...What a wonderful place to stay and get some rest & relaxation. The resort is beautiful & there's always something to see & do if you wish. The condo is all you can possibly want - large & airy, well-furnished and a great kitchen! The views are spectacular and you feel as if you are the only ones there. The privacy of this unit is great - yet you're close to everything - firepit by the water, pool, hot tub, tennis courts, bbq patio and even a kiddie play area. During our month here we saw pods of whales, seals, otters, hummingbirds & lots of eagles from our balcony. We even went clamming @ low tide and had 3 feasts of crab caught off the end of the dock! What more could you ask for? This place is what we consider a little taste of heaven on the west coast, and after a month here, returning to ONtario makes us look forward to returning again next spring.

“Superb Suite, Lovely Location” We had a fantastic stay in the Myrtle Suite while escaping our condo reno project! The Suite was the perfect home-away-from-home for us. It is cozy, new, spacious, clean, quiet, well stocked and equipped with all the essentials! I am particularly envious of the full kitchen; we wish our kitchen was this nice. And, the roomy bathroom (oh, great shower!), comfy bed, and the handy in-suite washer/dryer were much appreciated during our stay which felt more like a mini-vacation. So glad we didn't choose a hotel room! One of the highlights of our stay was the neighbourhood - great for walks and the views of the North Shore Mountains are the bonus. But, the nearby East Village is really special. It's the best kept secret for a local experience. There are lots of hip eateries (Tacofino, Campagnolo and Red Wagon) and culinary artisan shops like Moccia (eg Fig Tuscan sausages), Schokolade (handmade chocolates), and the Black Rook bake house...yum. We've lived in Vancouver for years and only discovered this off-the-beaten-track hood while staying at the Suite...crazy but true. So, if you're visiting Vancouver and want a real local experience with superb and good value accommodation, then we highly recommend the Myrtle Suite. The other highlight was the hospitable owner, Toni. She was so accommodating and we felt very welcomed in her home. Toni, thank you so much for the fresh tomatoes from your cute garden, a sample of your delicious Naughty Crow granola, and for the wine - all lovely personal touches that made our stay more memorable! You have a beautiful home and we wish we could have stayed longer; but we'll definitely direct our visiting friends and relatives to the Myrtle Suite!
