“Exceptional rental home. My family and I enjoyed our stay.” My family and I stayed in this incredible home for a few weeks. It is truly is a magnificent rental and the views really are incredible. This place exceeded our expectations and we found it to be an exceptional value. We were in a perfect location (close to both Kelowna and Vernon) overlooking the lake. I enjoyed the golf courses in the area while my older children ventured out boating on the lake. My wife and I also set a few hours aside for ourselves to relax at one of the Spa the owner recommended. Our stay was absolutely everything we were expecting and more! We will be returning to this lovely place again in the future and we have already spoken with the home owner to reserve our dates for next year...we were actually thinking that we would like to keep this our little secret but you know how it is when sometimes a secret is just to wonderful not to share. This is a perfect place and if you have the time don't miss a visit to the areas wineries. The Okanogan Valley in all of its splendor and beauty! “God’s “back yard”” I was lucky enough to be invited along on a ski holiday with a friend and we stayed in this wonderful house about half an hour's drive from the Kicking Horse resort. I've got to say this was an experience of a lifetime! Apart for the skiing at both "Kicking horse" and "Lake Louise" (just over an hour away), we got involved in some other experiences. X-country skiing was a blast but harder than I was expecting and my posterior will bear witness to that. But I had a go at sledding (we call it skidooing), we managed to this right out of the yard onto some exciting trails. But the ultimate was ice fishing! I could not believe it .. We took the sleds on a trailer a few miles up the road and then disappeared into the back woods for 10 miles. Cut a hole in the ice and caught our licence quota of five fish each, it was unbelievable. Anyway back to the Lodge .. this is something special, ideal for a family of up to ten or a group of blokes like we were. This place has all the facilities and is kept immaculate. There is a hot tub we relaxed in at the end of a hard day's skiing. Plenty of facilities for drying clothes with a very efficient laundry system. Big satellite TV. There was even a telephone to make free calls back to UK landlines. There is Wi-Fi which had a slightly intermittent attitude. One of the most important items was "Dan the Man" who takes care of the property and he has his own apartment separate in the cellar. We found he was a fountain of local knowledge and knew everybody and how to get stuff organised. So it ticked all our boxes and then some .. then to top it all you just look out of the window and see the views and you know you're in God's Back Yard. I want to go here again and again! Tips: Rent an SUV or even two from Calgary. Buy lift tickets at Coscos in Calgary. Use the Hosts on the Mountain at either Kicking horse or Lake Louise, it's a free service and they guide you around the mountain to all the best runs in the weather and they love to do it.

“Nice house with lots” Had a great stay. People were wonderful . Location is a short walk from downtown Charlottetown. I recommend a bike ride on the trails of the island. The house is restored beautifully with orignal painted oil cloth on some of the floors.

“Woodland setting and close to ocean, but still close to all amen” I have stayed at a lot of different rental properties and can honestly say that the Tanglewood Beach House is one of the best I have stayed at. They have a great book that the owners created outlining the area and what there is to do. It also includes a reference guide for the condo on simple things but things that if you don't live there you wouldn't know how to turn certain things on/off and which remote does what. The kitchen also has everything you need to cook with.

“A Special Family Home” Our family stayed at this comfortable home. We had a great time in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The home was clean and had everything in it including a washer and dryer for your use. The kitchen had all the appliances and dishes to make big family meals. “Great location, great landlord, terrific place” This is a lovely rental on a quiet street close yet very close to public transit, shops, and within walking distance of some terrific restaurants. Fenced in back yard and pet friendly. The owner is just around the corner and available immediately if you need anything. I'd definitely stay there again and don't hesitate to recommend it.

“Wonderful accommodation” My partner and I stayed at this location for four nights, and loved it. This is a self-contained efficiency apartment, with everything convenient and well planned. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use. This is a bright, cheerful place, very clean, and welcoming. The views from the windows look out over farmers' fields. It was delightful and we were reluctant to leave. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, and will come back when we are in PEI. We are cyclists and found that Victoria is a good place to cycle out and back from. The rides are easy and scenic along the coast. Cycling inland is challenging, but the roads are quiet and drivers very friendly. Jeanne and Susan are wonderful hosts and gave us fresh beans and onions from their garden.

“excellent stay with family” I love this place and have stayed previously on business travel in the one bedroom garden suite. Recently I brought my family for 2 months and we stayed in the 2 bedroom apt. We were surprised how much bigger it was than the photos show. The apartment is really well appointed, beautifully decorated and exceptionally sunny. The open concept on the second floor works really well for our family as we were able to work, cook and interact with the kids. Although it comes with aC we rarely used it as there is a nice large front porch off the living room with our own BBQ. It really felt like we were at home as the apt lacks for nothing and the hosts provided even books and toys for the children - and kids bikes. My kids liked playing in the backyard while we BBQ. The suite was exceptionally clean and the biweekly cleaning was very welcome as we have 3 young children. We loved the location and the easy walk to High Park where the kids loved the adventure playground, the pools and the zoo. My wife and I enjoyed Shakespeare in the Park. The neighbourhood is my favourite in Toronto, great shops and restaurants just behind the house and my kids loved the matinees at the Revue cinema on Roncesvalles(7 min walk). The only time I rented a car was for a trip up to cottage country. The commute to work downtown is great (either by subway or streetcar).

“Perfect space for a family looking for a short-term rental” We stayed in this basement 2 bedroom for just under six months while our home was being renovated. We have two children, ages 7 & 9 at the time and a cat. We found the apartment to be the perfect place! It was close to our home, transit and other amenities. The weekly housekeeper helped keep it clean and the parking space and BBQ were great perks. The landlord was always quick to respond to any of our inquiries. We found it a cozy, comfortable place!

“great location and apartment highly recommend it.” I have stayed here repeatedly for business in Toronto. My most recent visit was during the worst winter and it was warm and quiet. Previously my stays were in the summer and I love the garden porch and BBQ. It was so nice that I ended up doing most of my work on the porch. Never needed to rent a car as it is so close to the subway and shops. I highly recommend this wonderful place. I have stayed in the one bedroom garden apt by myself and the 3 bedroom suite with my family and Dorota and Wies really make it feel like a home. I am not going back to hotel or Condo renting on any future visits.

“Superb Suite, Lovely Location” We had a fantastic stay in the Myrtle Suite while escaping our condo reno project! The Suite was the perfect home-away-from-home for us. It is cozy, new, spacious, clean, quiet, well stocked and equipped with all the essentials! I am particularly envious of the full kitchen; we wish our kitchen was this nice. And, the roomy bathroom (oh, great shower!), comfy bed, and the handy in-suite washer/dryer were much appreciated during our stay which felt more like a mini-vacation. So glad we didn't choose a hotel room! One of the highlights of our stay was the neighbourhood - great for walks and the views of the North Shore Mountains are the bonus. But, the nearby East Village is really special. It's the best kept secret for a local experience. There are lots of hip eateries (Tacofino, Campagnolo and Red Wagon) and culinary artisan shops like Moccia (eg Fig Tuscan sausages), Schokolade (handmade chocolates), and the Black Rook bake house...yum. We've lived in Vancouver for years and only discovered this off-the-beaten-track hood while staying at the Suite...crazy but true. So, if you're visiting Vancouver and want a real local experience with superb and good value accommodation, then we highly recommend the Myrtle Suite. The other highlight was the hospitable owner, Toni. She was so accommodating and we felt very welcomed in her home. Toni, thank you so much for the fresh tomatoes from your cute garden, a sample of your delicious Naughty Crow granola, and for the wine - all lovely personal touches that made our stay more memorable! You have a beautiful home and we wish we could have stayed longer; but we'll definitely direct our visiting friends and relatives to the Myrtle Suite!
