We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful big villa right on the coast where the fishing boats come in. The front wall of the house is all bifolding doors and they open onto a lovely big pool, with a gazebo beyond that. We spent many an hour at the gazebo watching the fishing boats and the ferries going to and from Lombok. The living area is massive and has a couple of big couches and armchairs, full dining suite and other chairs for reading or writing. There's a load of books and games to use while you're there, plus TV with all the cable channels. There is a fully equipped kitchen should you feel the urge to cook. You won't because Nenengeh and Yuni make the most awesome banana pancakes! All the staff are lovely and Nengah is a very safe driver. There is a night watchman so you feel safe and secure.
There is a hotel two doors down with LeZat Restaurant that provides free entertainment through Legong dancing 3 nights a week. I had a fabulous fish soup the night we went. There's also a pizza restaurant across the road and a load of other restaurants further up the street.
Overall, I would highly recommend this for a family or group of friends.
We thank you very much for your review, and very glad to hear you both had such a good time :-)
It would seem you loved the whole package - sitting at the gazebo staring out to sea, watching the fishing boats, big pool, big couches, the books, games, TV etc ... we aim to please :-)
Nengah (our safe driving villa manager), Ni Nengah, Wayan, Yuni (and not to forget Nyoman our night time security guy) were very happy when I read out your comments, and said to say HI !
Many thanks again, and hope we see you back here one day :-)
Regards, All at Villa Rindik !

My family - myself, hubby and three children aged 17, 15 and 9 stayed here for almost 2 weeks. What a fantastic holiday - almost perfect; the downside being that we had to return home to work and cold weather. The Villa is as described - very spacious and comfortable, located close to restaurants and shopping. The owners are unobtrusive but also available for a chat if you want. The best asset would have to be the staff - Ni-Nengah's pancakes are delicious and Yuni filled in for her seamlessly. Wayon was friendly and helpful and Nengah was really helpful and a lot of fun. The kids still talk about him. We found Candidasa a great base to explore East Bali and we enjoyed bike riding and snorkeling.
My sister and her family stayed in the Villa just through the alley way, so this Villa was perfect for running between pools, and wandering over for a drink.
We definitely want to return, and have a wedding to attend in Candidasa in 2015.
Thanks so much to Geoff and Louise and the crew,
Hi there Jane, Sean, Taren, Pierie and Christiane,
We are very happy to read your review, thank you for taking the time to write one for us. We know that making a holiday location decision is important, and we are just happy that you decided on Villa Rindik :-)
We do pride ourselves on being a 'home' for people while they are on holidays, helps you all relax quicker if YOU feel basically at home straight away, ready to just kick back and relax.
The other thing as you noted has been very important to all previous guests that have stayed, that is the location of the villa (being 'in town', thus close to everything you would need for your stay.
Your sister has already been in contact with us and has booked her next holiday with us this time (pat on the back for us !) :-)
We hope to see you back here again for that wedding in Candidasa - in 2015 (don't leave your booking too long, we seem to fill up quickly !)
Best regards from all the team at Villa Rindik :-)

Just spent 8 nights here and didn't want to leave, wish we could have spent the rest of our holiday here. The villa, the staff, the location, the pool all perfect more then we expected. Restaurants all easy walking distance. Snorkeling fantastic recommend that to everyone, we did the 3 main places and saw different fish at each spot. Going in a long boat to white sand beach is a must, having Uni's pancakes is another. The staff so helpful, whatever you want/need they were there to offer advise. Lots of day trips to do if like or just sit back and relax. We were a family of 4 two 75 year olds and two 56 year olds, but this villa is great for all ages. We will be back.
Thanks once again to Louise and Geoff and all the staff at villa Rindik for a great holiday.
Kim, Kerry, Mary and Sylvia.
Louise, we went to the birthing clinic in Ubud, what an eye opener.
Many thanks for your review. We do like getting feedback from our guests, this lets us know how we are doing - seems we are doing ok !
We (Geoff, Louise and our staff we call friends) are all very happy when our guests are happy ... which seems to be every day at Villa Rindik :-)
Uni's pancakes - they do seem to be a real hit with all our guests, they seem to be becoming world famous !
We look forward to having ou all back any time.
Regards, Team Rindik !

We stayed here for 3 weeks in July. The staff were so helpful and nothing was a problem.Nengah, the villa manager was always ready to take us wherever we wanted to go.He is very knowledgable, and speaks very good English.Uni, Ni Nenah and Wayan are all so lovely and always there in the morning with a ready smile and eager to please. The villa has everything that you need, and the pool is lovely. There are many restaurants to choose from, but would recommend astawa,Aquaria and Gary's hot dog stand over the road. You can go snorkelling whenever you like.We went with Ketut, who was excellent.Fishing is also easy to arrange. There were 4 of us staying in the villa,so we were able to watch movies at night and listen to music during the day while relaxing by the pool.We had a lovely stay, and will maybe come back one day.Tony and Helena from Melbourne and Colleen and Iain from Victor Harbour,S.A.
Many thanks for your feedback - it is always nice to hear from our guests about your stay at Villa Rindik ... we know that you had a long brake in Bali, and each stay will be even better than the last, so we look forward to your return one day :-)
The staff told us you really enjoyed your time, and have said thank you for your comments ... it means a lot to them to know the guests do in fact "relax and unwind ... and enjoy" their time at the villa.
Safe travels to you all.
Geoff, Louise and team Rindik !

This villa is exactly as it looks in the photos. Geoff and Louise were there when we stayed but there was no compromise to our privacy at all. They are a pleasure to deal with and lovely people who couldn't have treated us and our friends better. We managed to twist their arm in to sharing a sunset drink with us by the Kabana. A lovely memory of our time there, that spot is sensational.
Candidasa and surrounds is an underrated destination in bali. No pressure shopping and some good food about. Geoff and Loiuse give unbiased recommendations.
Try Vincents for some fine dining in secluded little garden tables, the pub with the pool table at the front has excellent Margarita's and get a driver to take you to white sand beach for some secluded swimming in beautiful water. A little more expensive by boat, however the villa manager couples as a driver as well and the staff are lovely. If you are in to being more self contained, perhaps do some grocery shopping on route at somewhere like Hardy's or Bintang supermarket as the town has minimal in the grocery department other than conveniences.
Hello Jodie & Phil, MANY thanks for your review. We were very happy that you all had such a relaxing time at the villa, and yes, it was very nice sharing a glass of wine (and a beer !) with you. We hope one day you will come back and stay again. We will pass on your good wishes to the staff here as well. Regards, Geoff & Louise

Just got back today from Villa Rindik for a week with my family. Cannot express enough how relaxing this stay was and how lovely the staff. We were collected and at the end of our stay returned to the airport by Nengah - so couldn't be easier. Geoff and Louise were actually in their residence (top floor) whilst we were there but were practically invisible. We were uncertain if they were actually there for the most part as they were so considerate of our privacy. The villa was very clean and beautifully maintained by the friendly, gracious staff, Yuni, Nengah, and Wayan (Wayne). Nengah was only too pleased to take us on day trips (he is also the Villa Manager), there was security there in the evening - just because that's how its done there, Yuni cooked us individually the most wonderful breakfasts each day (her pancakes are amazing) and Wayne - what can I say - he worked so hard making sure there was not a single leaf in the pool or on the pavers as well as everything else he did. There are several good restaurants available I recommend LeZat next door (literally) as they were superb for dining and Legong dancing demonstrations. I would highly recommend this villa as we hope to stay there again next year. (There is also ample opportunity for diving, snorkelling, Ubud shopping trips etc).
Thanks guys & ladies - 5 star - terimah cassi
Hello Delaney family ... thank you for your review of for your recent stay here at Villa Rindik. We have a great team in Nengah, Wayan (Wayne - LOL), Yuni who was filling in for Ni Nengah while she is on maternity leave, and Nyoman. We are ALL very happy that YOU were happy, and that you enjoyed your weeks holiday - this is our aim, so always nice to get positive feedback. We will pass on your wishes to the team, and look forward to your return in 2014. Regards, Geoff & Louise - Villa Rindik
