Crowned by a roomy, third floor master suite offering privacy and amazing ocean views, this luxurious space is just the beginning of the features you'll find when you stay in this spacious and stylish, five-bedroom Cannon Beach vacation rental home with room for 10 nestled in the quiet Tolovana neighborhood just south of the bustling downtown center. Combining the upper and lower levels of a larger home, your group will have large, comfortable areas where you can visit, cozy nooks where you can escape with a book or your laptop, and places to unwind, like an invigorating hot tub and a massive, wrap-around deck where you can breathe the ocean air in silence or enjoy a barbeque on the gas grill.
Tired from your busy and fun day exploring the shops, restaurants, and galleries downtown, come back to the living area on the main level of this, your getaway refuge where you can kick your shoes off, make yourself a drink, and settle into the plush furniture. Make sure you bring along some CDs to listen to while you chat and plan your next day's adventures. If it's sunny, take advantage of the weather and visit out on the big deck. On those cold, coastal days, click on the gas fireplace and warm yourself. If there's time before dinner, how about a movie? Just pick one of the DVDs from the library and enjoy! There are also books, and games for both children and adults to choose from. Plenty of room on the floor or the big coffee table to spread one out.
If you're looking to dine out, there are 35 eateries just 20 minutes away in downtown Cannon Beach where you should have no trouble finding the perfect place to satisfy your appetite. If you're not, this large, fully equipped kitchen is ready to help you create a hearty meal for you and your group, no matter what time of day! Located apart from the main living area, those chatting in the other room are spared some of the noise from clanking dishes and pans. In addition to the stove, fridge, and microwave you'd expect, your cook will have all the pots, pans and utensils needed to create a great meal. Hand the finished dishes off to waiting hands through the unique serving window, and when it's done, serve it up at the chic wooden dining table where you'll enjoy a fabulous view with your meal. When meal's done, everyone can roll up their sleeves and help with the dishes, made easier with the dishwasher.
In addition to the master suite up top, there are three more bedrooms on the main level. The master is a world unto itself. Brightly lit from overhead lights and sunlight through multiple windows, the master's wallpapered walls and warm colors give it a cozy feel. You'll sleep on a comfy queen bed, and awake in the morning to an awesome view of the shore in the distance. There's a soft armchair where you can relax with a book or a magazine, and a private, full bathroom with walk-in shower. The other three bedrooms are on the main level. One has a full bed, another a queen: both nicely decorated with soft linens and pillows. A fourth bedroom also has a queen bed, and an attached bath (with shower only). You'll also find a fourth bathroom on the main level, also tastefully decorated with a tub/shower combo. When the dirty clothes pile up, take them to the laundry room and make quick work of them with the washer and dryer.
And that's just the upper levels! Those of you who'd like a modicum of privacy and independence can stay down in the lower level where you'll have everything they'll need for a comfortable stay apart from the larger group. Have a seat in the cozy living area where you snuggle with your S.O. and read or work on the laptop. If you need to do a little work, there's also a little office area with a swivel chair, couch, and stereo so you can enjoy a little music. Two more bedrooms down here. One has a queen bed, the other, a twin-overhead bunk and its own TV cable, VHS, and Wii. There's also a futon. You can make your own meals in the small but efficient kitchen, complete with stove and microwave, but no dishwasher. Also, you'll have direct access to the hot tub from down here.
When you're ready to explore the Cannon Beach area, why not start out with a little history at the Cannon Beach History Center. Learn a little about the region, and pick a map for a walking tour of the city. Part of the draw of Cannon Beach are the imposing natural features that dot the area. Make sure the camera's charged up and visit Haystack Rock, the 235-foot rock that's accessible by foot at low tide. Savor some inspiring views of Indian Beach or Tillamook Lighthouse from overlooks at Ecola State Park. Spend some time on the town's four-mile stretch of beautiful sandy beach. And, if you simply must play golf, there are links in nearby Gearhart, Seaside, and Manzanita. Or, spend some money: pick up that perfect souvenir or piece of art right downtown!
