Location, Location, and much more!! This waterfront home is the perfect vacation spot for fishing, tubing, cycling, enjoying local activities or just relaxing. Close to local river outfitters, fishing guides, Gruene and New Braunfels antique and specialty shops, day spas, wine tasting, beer gardens, taverns and restaurants, annual Wurstfest festivals, and popular live music venues, including Gruene Hall and the Whitewater Amphitheater. This comfortable, well-furnished vacation rental property boasts a huge deck overlooking a backyard of pecan trees with picnic area and one of the best fly fishing holes on the Guadalupe River! The property sleeps up to 12 and is ideally suited for group and family gatherings.
Roast marshmallows in the fire ring out back. Cook up your catch or BBQ on the grill. Rent a tube at the neighborhood water outfitters and float the river. Bring your bicycle or motorcycle and enjoy a scenic ride down River Road into New Braunfels. Head over to Gruene to be pampered at a day spa, browse the antique and specialty stores or grab a bite to eat at Mozie's or the Gristmill. Kick up your heels to live music at Gruene Hall, one of the oldest working dance halls in the country. Check out the music concerts down the road at the Whitewater Amphitheater. Book now for a place to stay during Wurstfest, an annual New Braunfels' festival that takes place over 10 days each November celebrating the German culture with food, beer, music, carnival rides, shopping, games and dancing. Keep us on your calendar for a place to stay during the Wurstfest Craft Beer Festival, a three-day event each March or April featuring live music, food trucks and craft brews.
The home has a spacious and open cook's kitchen, dining, and living areas, outdoor BBQ grill, shaded backyard with picnic tables and seating for all. Indoor amenities and entertainment include: flat screen HDTVs, DVD player, movies, board games, and high speed Internet.
The home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and beds to sleep 12. Two bedrooms down contain a queen bed and double down/twin top bunk beds and each comfortable sleep five people. The upstairs master bedroom has one king and two queen beds and sleeps six. The master bath has a double vanity and walk-in shower.
Maximum occupancy is 12 guests. No smoking inside the property, but allowed on the deck. No pets allowed.
