The Gathering Place Description
SPACIOUS 3 BEDROOM, 3 BATH TWIN IN QUIET RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD; A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH, CHILDREN’S PARK, DUCK POND, NATURE CENTER AND THE FISHERMAN’S MEMORIAL. We call this house THE GATHERING PLACE because it is a lovely home where you can gather together with family and friends. We have made this house a home by providing plenty of extra amenities for your comfort and enjoyment inside and out. Beach chairs and umbrellas for the grown-ups, games, books and DVD’s for the children, as well as sand toys, boogie boards, and table and chairs for the patio and beach just their size. Your car can be parked in the 3-car driveway or park it on the wide safe sidewalk-lined street in front of the house. With three spaciously appointed bedrooms, two downstairs and one upstairs, complete with coordinating beach-themed wall-covering, fresh pillows, blankets, throws, spreads and hand-stitched décor, as well as three full renovated baths, one with grab bars, a comfortable living room with large television, a family room, and a lovely enclosed front porch with cushioned rocking chairs: this house is perfect for the family that wants to spread out. Why not invite the grandparents to join you? Comfy patio furniture, a table and chairs with umbrella, a Weber gas grill with all of the grilling tools and accessories you need make outdoor dining a delight. The back patio is even enclosed with a low fence so those little ones can stay nearby during mealtime. The private tree-edged backyard provides a quite, shady spot for an afternoon nap. A flagstone patio out front with bistro table and chairs is the perfect spot for that morning cup of coffee. A full size washer and dryer located in its own quiet room, as well as a large outside shower and clothesline are provided for your convenience.
The whole house has been updated and renovated with tasteful decorations and comfortable amenities throughout. We take great pride in keeping The Gathering Place updated and in pristine condition. For those who enjoy cooking while on vacation, the kitchen has also been remodeled and is complete with everything necessary to whip up a gourmet meal. From the glass-top stove, the granite counter tops, the beach glass back-splash, the Kitchen-Aid stand mixer, blender, spices, bake ware and kitchen gadgets, coffee maker and Keurig coffee machine; it’s all there! Additionally, the kitchen and house are stocked at the beginning of the season with paper products, coffee, foil, plastic wraps, dish-washing detergent, hand soap and the like. We only ask that you replace it for the next guest as supplies run low. Wireless internet is available for those who need to work or check email while on vacation. Cable televisions round out the amenities this house has to offer. The entire house is now equipped with quiet, efficient duct-less a/c and heating throughout. Standing fans and ceiling fans are also provided. The ocean breezes continue to come through the windows on cool days for those who prefer the salt air.
This property is rented weekly in-season, Saturday to Saturday. Rates are very family-friendly. Check in time is at 2pm. The house is professionally cleaned and sanitized in between each tenant. There is even a hand-sanitizer station on the porch wall upon entering the house.
