The Abbey Road Beach House Rental is one in a million. The house is Victorian with beautiful and bold colors both inside and out. The house itself has been described as looking like a tuxedo and even an old ship. The house has exquisite detail from the roof to the porch railings. There are several porches on the house for your relaxation. The roof itself is a mansard roof. The roof design was first popularized by François Mansart (1598–1666), an accomplished architect of the French Baroque period, and became especially fashionable during the Second French Empire (1852–1870).
The Abbey is located in the Heart of Cape May, in the historic district. The house is one block from the beach and boardwalk and it is two blocks from the famous Washington St. outside mall which has lots of world class restaurants and shopping. There is also the local supermarket up the street for any quick needs.
There is a grassy yard, which holds parking for up to 6 cars. If you would like to, you could see most of the area by foot or even by bike if you prefer. There is a bike rental just one block away.
The house has an outside shower with a changing room for when you return from the beach, and it is wonderful. Once inside the foyer of the house, you will see two parlors, one has comfy leather couches and a flat screen TV(there is also internet), and the other has carefully crafted antiques. Walking ahead you will see the kitchen with a large antique table with seating for 8, plus an island with seating for 4 more.
There are two refrigerators, an AGA gas stove, dishwasher, double sink, and it is all covered with white granite countertops. There is also a charcoal grill outside by the side porch if you feel like summer cooking. The second and third floor have 6 bedrooms plus 5 bathrooms (one is also on the first floor). Each bedroom has soft comfortable beds and is decorated with period pieces including chandeliers, oriental rugs, armoires, lace curtains, and ornamental mirrors.
While staying at the Abbey Road Beach House you will enjoy the smells and sounds of the beach, all while relaxing in an elegant home. We think you will love it!

We absolutely loved having our family reunion at abbey Road. We particularly liked the kitchen and the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom. It was beautifully decorated yet comfortable. The location was amazing...close to the beach as well as the center of Cape May shopping. It also had ample parking for multiple family cars. We would highly recommend this beautiful home!
