Casa Galilei is a comfortable and characterful apartment in the historic centre of the village of Capena, near Rome. It is located in a pedestrianised area that was most recently a Renaissance monastery, though its origins go much further back to pre-Roman times. The apartment has been recently restored from the former guest quarters of the monastery and it sleeps 6/8 people. Its features include hand-fired terracotta tiles and beech beams together with tufa caves dating back to Etruscan times.
