“A perfect cottage in which to feel at home.” This is a perfect cottage in which to feel at home whilst exploring the south west of Iceland. The views across the lake and to the surrounding hills are very special. It is well equipped and has a spacious living area and I would recommend paying the small extra fee for use of the hot tub after a day's trekking in the mountains or driving around the fjords. Iceland's highest waterfall, Glymur, is nearby and is well worth the walk. Haukur and anna Lisa, the hosts, are very helpful and friendly and we very much enjoyed our time in their summerhouse.

“Cozy apartment and exellent landlord.” This was my second stay in Cozy apartment. Last year I and two friends stayed for three nights, this year we stayed for nine. The Cozy Studio apartment is a great little home away from in downtown Reykjavik, located just two minutes walk from the town square. The apartment offers everything you need including a washer and dryer, internet access, a small kitchen with a refrigerator and water heater. On top of everything, the landlord Sveinn is your best friend in Reykjavik. He knows all the restaurants, bars, hot spring swimming pools and sights worth seeing and knows what is going on in terms of movies, concerts and other events in town. We also took a day trip in Sveinn's own super jeep to Ejafjallaj?kull, ??rsm?rk and surrounding areas. Sveinn is a wonderful guide and brought us a lovely lunch with smoked lamb sandwiches, skyr and beverages. I highly recommend a stay in Cozy Studio apartments.

“Wonderful quiet neighborhood” We stayed here in april for a week. The apartment was centrally located and is close to lots of different things. The apartment is clean and quiet and very well equipped. I think we would stay here again if we travelled back to Iceland.

A fine place to stay as a base for day trips.

The studio apartment was comfortable and very convenient to everything in Reykjavik. Having the kitchen was a huge benefit, as we cooked a number of breakfasts before heading out on day trips. The parking was a bit tight, but manageable. There is a lot of construction happening in the city, but the noise level was acceptable. The Internet access was very good, but make sure you can use a wired network, as there is no wireless router. But then, you can got almost anywhere in the city and find free wireless. Siggi is a great host. He picked us up at the airport at 4:30AM! The apartment is perfect. It is on the outskirts of the city, so it is very quiet, but it is still a very short drive to downtown. The Apartment was great, but the TV did not work.

For what you had control of, it was good. The rain, wind and the people not being very pleasant, you had nothing to do with that. We needed to do more home work, due to we didn't know the busses would not go to an Apartment, but will go to Hotels. Awesome cottage with spectacular views

Great cottage situated far enough from town to feel remote yet close enough to run in for supplies if the small local shop doesn't have them. Beautiful hiking right from the house and many beautiful places within a 2 hour drive. The owners Lisa and Hauker are very helpful with advice of things to do and see. We saw the Northern lights our last night because they were thoughtful enough to text and tell us when to look for them. I would definitely book this place again! … see more

Beautiful house in nice, quiet neighborhood by Lake Ellidavatn in Kopavogur

Jon's house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, one block from Lake Ellidavatn, and a short drive north to Reykjavik. The home is beautifully decorated with heated tile floors, a large Master bath with a heated towel rack, comfortable living area, breakfast nook, TV loft with a large screen TV with Netflix and Internet access, two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and a very well-equipped kitchen with an espresso/coffee machine. Roads to the Golden Circle, Southern, Western, or Eastern Iceland are easily accessible. Jon was very accommodating if we needed help or information. My family and I had a wonderful week in Iceland, touring the Golden Circle, snorkeling at Pingvellir, hiking on the Vatnajokull glacier, basking in the Blue Lagoon, and watching the New Year's Eve fireworks display in Reykjavik. … see more
