And on the sixth day, God created Upper Captiva and built a home which He named "Reel Paradise" so that on the seventh day He could rest in that very home.
We are blessed to have relaxed at Reel Paradise. We live fairly close to Upper Captiva but looked far and wide for a restful spot; what we found was the best place to go was close-by. The resting was needed and the home enabled us to rest comfortably. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and tableware. The pool was so refreshing. We enjoyed having access to the bicycles. The island itself has wonderful shelling and fishing. For the ecologically minded, the difference in the bay and beach are a fun contrast. Reel paradise is in a wonderful location. The owners were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a wonderful vacation.

We brought a large group of people ranging in age from four months to 55 years old, and this house was able to suit everyone. The home was really clean, beautifully furnished, and comfortable. The week was so relaxing. My favorite part of the stay was definitely the owner. On the occasions we spoke she was so helpful and sweet. My group is so glad we chose this house and we cannot wait until we go back again. This was definitely the best vacation we've ever taken and we'll probably become North Captiva Island regulars.

If you are looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway, reel paradise will not disappoint! They have all the ammenities needed. The pool area is perfect with a really nice tiki bar area with a grill and mini fridge. The kids loved playing in the pool. It is perfect because you can spend the day at the beach, which is super close, and then hang out at the pool in the afternoon. You can grill out while the kids play. We also love the open layout of the kitchen/living room area. It also has a nice size screened in porch, which is very helpful in keeping the bugs away (mosquito and no-see-ums) I can go on and on about this home... we really enjoy our stay here every year!!!

Service was excellent, house was wonderful, pool was beautiful, and beach was the best. The people on the island were very nice and helpful when we needed something.
My only complaint is my visit wasn't long enough! I absolutely did not want to leave.

My family truly enjoyed our stay at Reel Paradise on North Captiva. The home owners were perfectly accomodating before and during our stay and the property met all of our expectations. I would highly recommend to anyone considering a trip to the Island.

Our family of four stayed in Reel Paradise for almost a week. The house in in the best part of the island on the north side close to both beaches. The inside is very up to date with everything needed and nice bedrooms, kitchen, furniture, etc. The tower on top has amazing views of both the gulf and the intra-coastal. We watched the sunset up there every night. The pool and tiki bar felt private and added a nice way to spend more time at the house. Safe for kids with a fence and gates around the pool area. Pick up was right on time and we were delivered right to the house.

Everything about the house was enjoyable and made for a relaxing stay.
The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous from the widow's watch, let alone from the beach.
The pool area leaves nothing to be desired.

While Reel Paradise isn't right on the gulf, it has a perfect location as you can see the waters (gulf, pass and bay) from the upper floors of the house. Plus it is a short walk to either the bay or gulf, which we did every night for sunset. Being on Upper Captiva, you are away from the traffic, hustle and bustle of the other beaches and can truly relax and enjoy the island. We loved the pool and the tiki bar area and grilled several lunches and dinners. While we had a slight problem with the satellite service, we weren't really there to watch tv and it was soon repaired. What a beautiful home with great amenities and furnishings. Thanks and we can't wait to return!
