18th-Century Caromb Village Estate - A Family-Friendly Home with Luxurious Amenities & Pool
This lovely 18th-century estate has one of the most charming courtyards of all our villas in France. You’ll find it in the picturesque village of Caromb, located next to vineyards and the lush valleys of Mont Ventoux, known as the Giant of Provence.
You’ll get plenty of opportunity to take in Provencal greenery in the privacy of your own getaway, thanks to the property’s stonewalls and rows of olive trees. Spend a lazy afternoon out on the terrace—if you get warm, take a dip in the swimming pool. An outdoor eating area offers a refreshing spot for al fresco dining.
Inside, the central hallway pays tribute to the villa’s historic roots with original stone flooring and archways. There are multiple living areas, offering ample seating room for you and your guests. The summer salon offers views of the interior courtyard, the TV room, a chance to relax, while the main living and dining area has beautiful wood furniture, stone tile flooring and a fireplace.
There are many lovely rooms in this traditional Provencal villa to choose from, including a suite with a king-sized bed, private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, and another boasting a queen bed, dressing room and solarium. Other rooms have equally comfortable options with beds ranging from queens to twins, and all have a shared or private bathroom. Up to 12 people can comfortably stay here.
When you’re ready to do some exploring, head into the village to visit the local shops and cafes. The villa is also only 25 minutes to the Roman ruins at Vaison la Romaine, and just 45 minutes to the Avignon high speed train station. Of course, you can also spending a lovely day touring the Cote-du-Rhone’s vineyards.
