“A Rare Treasure” Sunflower Cottage is in an Idyllic spot. We return again and again. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and helpful and are on hand if you need them. After several visits we consider Lynn and John as friends. The cottage is set in a charming little village with friendly locals who still live a rural life that stretches back generations.The nearest place to shop is only a couple of miles away where you can buy most things and chat to the lovely shop/cafe owner who provided us with honey and delicious olive oil to take home. The area is unspoilt and very beautiful, and you do feel you have found a rare treasure. Wild life is abundant and you can roam at leisure in the surrounding countryside. The cottage is well equiped and delightfully decorated/furnished in the tradition Porugese style with lovely little artisan touches that make all the difference. We have visited Portugal 5 times now and never missed staying here.The delightful little couryard garden is magical. You will not be disappointed!
