Words can not express the fantastic experience we had during our 1 week holiday at this villa in Umbria. We traveled with 2 families, 8 people in all. The house was more than adequate in size to accommodate all of us comfortably. It was clean, beautifully furnished, with a view of the rolling country side that I now picture in my dreams. The pool was lovely and well maintained, the summer kitchen was very serviceable and we used the outdoor wood fired pizza oven.
It is in the middle of the country side so you must have a car to get to the nearest town. But it is a lovely 10 minute trip through the country side. We visited a different town every day including a day in Rome and Florence. But to return to the villa each evening was the real joy.
The only questionable issue was that the equipment that is used in the nearby fields rolled past the front of the house every morning and this woke us up.
We would go back tomorrow if we had the chance. Our collective memories of “OUR villa in Umbria” have now ascended to become family myth.

I was looking for a villa to accommodate 5 couples that would be easy to access, and conveniently located for easy day trips in Tuscany, Umbria, Sienna, Florence, etc. - Villa Eloisa was it! We were very pleased with all the accommodations that the villa provided. The furnishings were very nice, and it was great to have a large communal area with a kitchen. The garden and the pool were extra bonus! The care taker was very friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed.
I would highly recommend Villa Eloisa to anyone looking to spend some time in Umbria.
