“A lovely apartment in a magical harbour” This apartment is situated in an ideal spot for exploring the Marigot bay waterfront, it's small but enchanting beach and the interesting restaurants within a very short water taxi ride. The accommodation is of a very high standard with efficient air conditioning, and has lovely views from the small but adequate balcony. There are stairs to access the apartment - these were not a problem to us, but perhaps could be to a disabled person. We particularly enjoyed breakfast at the 'baguette shop' just below the apartment. The Wednesday night 'knees up' at Chateau Mygo was quite special, again only a few yards from the apartment. Doolittles restaurant across the bay was enjoyable for morning coffee and also evening meals. Our lasting memory was the day we chartered a small private yacht which took us from the quayside down the coast to Soufriere and other delightful places. All in all, a magical experience.

“Beautiful, Comfortable and Relaxing” Great view of Marigot bay from the Great House. Very comfortable home. Clean and well stocked with extras. Our house maid Christine was very accommodating and helpful. Brian the gardener kept the grounds and pool very tidy. Anselma cooked for us on 2 occasions. Local cuisine and plentiful. It was amazing!! We did a 2 day sailing excursion booked through the Oasis Marigot and this was a great adventure. Great restaurants and shops in Marigot Bay. We loved our stay at the Great House in St. Lucia and hope to be back again.

“We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday with just enough activity.” We loved staying in Ocean Cottage apt 3. We felt we had the best view of Marigot Bay. We appreciated all the help that the guest office give us. The extra options for tours were perfect. We would definitely recommend Oasis Marigot to other travelers. Thanks from Carolyn and Spencer.

“Wonderful Stay at the Pelican House!” My family & I had a wonderful stay at the Pelican House, our trip couldn't have gone smoother, from the airport pickup by "Smally" the driver, to "Johnson" the porter meeting us at the ferry dock & taking all of our bags up the hill to where the Pelican House is perched overlooking the turquoise waters of Marigot Bay. There was plenty of room in the house & each bedroom & even the kitchen all open up to the large open air deck with a spectacular view. Each morning we were greeted with various small birds & the colorful flowery vine seems to creep right through the railing on the deck. We enjoyed the local restaurants which were close by, either at the bottom of the hill at Dolittles, or across the bay at Chateau Mygo, among others. From the deck you can see the sunrise over the mountains to the East & then at the end of the day look out between the cliffs & see it sink into the Caribbean Sea. The grounds around the home & the Oasis Marigot were well manicured & lush with tropical plants & flowers, it was fun to explore the paths around the property. I would certainly recommend the Pelican House to anyone visiting the Island. I hope to get back soon!

“Fabulous location for a group of friends” Very spacious and bright villa, every amenity we could think of. We stayed for a week with a group of 6 friends and loved to cook in the perfect kitchen or grill some fresh fish and enjoy the evening on the veranda. Four of the rooms have private verandas so everyone could choose privacy or staying together. For 6 people the villa is almost too big, you get lost in the living room :-) The owner provides detailed information beforehand about everything you might want to know about the house and the island. The caretakers have been very helpful and assisted with the transfer as our rental car could not hold all six with luggage. Highly recommended!

“Wonderful apartment in beautiful Marigot Bay.” The apartment was fantastic. Very clean and beautifully decorated, and fully stocked for the week with towels, dishes, full kitchen, etc. Nina was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. We loved Marigot Bay, the bakery right below for soup and croissants, the nearby restaurants, and boat rides from the bay to nearby beaches and sites. Suggestions would be to try Jullietta's for dinner up the hill. They will pick you up from Marigot Bay. We had alex take us around in his water taxi, the pool at Discovery Hotel was fantastic; definitely recommend spending some time there. The Botanical Gardens are worth a visit as is the market in Castries and Rodney Bay and nearby fort. But if all you do is sit on the balcony at apartment 7a, you will be happy. It is worth the visit just for the beautiful setting and view from this private area. Would love to come back one day.

Fabulous Apartment with the best view of Marigot Bay

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous apartment with stunning views over Marigot Bay. The apartment is beautiful and had everything we needed plus a fantastic balcony where we could sit and watch the world go by. A stone's throw from the lovely little beach and the Capella Hotel - great pool at the hotel and and fantastic sushi at the pool bar. Lovely restaurants - our favourite being the Rainforest. Pauline and Cornelius looked after us so well and we really enjoyed our snorkelling trip to the Pitons with Cornelius. We would love to go back! … see more

Great stay in paradise

We enjoyed a wonderful week at "The Great House" in Marigot Bay in March. For us it was nice to have a beautiful retreat as home base for the week. The views from the deck are spectacular. The house was very clean and well furnished, including everything in the kitchen for preparing nice meals when we weren't out and about. The pool was a treat. Marigot Bay has a nice beach with boat rentals etc. Everyone was very friendly. We did notice some 'crazy ants' when we first got there, but they were taken care of as soon as we mentioned the problem. The folks at Oasis were really helpful and pleasant do talk to. Great value for money, nice location

I stayed here with two friends for six weeks when in Saint Lucia for a placement at Victoria Hospital in Castries (medical students). The apartment itself was well kept and clean, with good furnishings. Maria and Theo are a lovely couple who live above the ground apartments. They bought fresh flowers regularly, which was a nice touch. They also offered the empty apartment next door to one of my friends at a great rate when his fiance came to stayed for a couple of weeks. The location was good, with a bus running to the town center regulraly from nearby the house. It was also not too far to walk to the beach, or to the local super market. The only thing we missed on our trip was air-conditioning in the apartment due to the heat at night, although there were fans in all the bedrooms which helped. The apartment was also situated at the top of 'Active Hill', so called for a reason! Good for the calves though and not usually an issue due to the regular bus service. Overall, a lovely and welcoming place to stay, all of us would highly recommend it. … see more

Awesome Honeymoon Stay

A special thanks to John and Shirley and their family who was very kind to us while we were there for 6 days enjoying our honeymoon. This place is fabulous, the views are so amazing, you get to see ships and cruise ships and planes landing all while looking at breathtaking views of the water and beautiful scenery all around. You will not find this at a Resort. This was special. We had our very own apartment suite and it was like having your own personalized butler service with such great hosts. The Driver Anthony was fabulous and very kind, he was very prompt picking us up. He stopped for us to get home made bread on the street side and then took us the grocery shop for some items for the apartment. The Sandals resort is right across the street. It does not get any better than that. Please be sure to take advantage of the day pass you will not regret it. All the food and drinks and entertainment. Worth every penny of the $100 we spent. We also took advantage of the Joe's Knows Tours as well. You will not be disappointed. We went horseback riding, went to down town and had special home baked brownies from their special daughter. We could not have asked for anything more. We wish we could have stayed longer. You could rent a car which the very kind owners will help you set up, remember that the driving is on the right hand side, so may take some time to get used to. We took the public transportation which was only $1.50 E.C dollars and it took us right into town and Marigot Bay so you do not need a car if you choose not to to enjoy your stay. Side note, one thing to remember is that St. Lucia has a lot of stray dogs, and as a animal lover this was hard to watch. Other than this. We will certainly recommend this to any and all who may want to visit the beautiful island of St. Lucia. Your awesome hosts with John and Shirley will not dissapoint. STUNNING VILLA AND POOL WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWS OF MARIGOT BAY
Beautiful Home with Amazing Views!

We were lucky enough to stay in this beautiful villa with two other families. (Ten people total, including four teenagers.) The home is gorgeous....spacious, clean and perched on the hillside with the most amazing view of Marigot Bay. Cornelius (the caretaker) also took us out on his boat for a snorkeling excursion to Anse Chastenet and for some hiking on Pigeon Island. Don't forget to hire Chef Joel to make a meal for you with his lovely wife, Sharon. Their dinners were amazing!! We hired them for two nights, but had enough food for four by the time we were done. Villa Trou Rolland- Marigot Bay, St Lucia
Be careful, this house will reset your expectations!

There were 8 of us the just left Trou Rolland, and as a group, we have traveled the Caribbean fairly well over the last 10 years. We always rent houses and enjoy finding new locations. This was our first visit to St. Lucia, and I have to say that Trou Rolland was one of the nicest properties we have rented, especially in this price range (we have paid much more for much less). The property is very well maintained and very well appointed. The house and the grounds make a beautiful setting looking west across the Caribbean. The view from the Kitchen, dining, and main room area are exceptional, as are the appliances and general kitchen equipment. The bathrooms and bedrooms are also well laid out and appointed. The staff was also exceptional. Nina (the property manager) is a joy to be around and ready to help with anything needed, and the cleaning staff went above and beyond! Not only did they clean the rooms exceptionally well, they washed any of our personal items that were obviously dirty. The location and proximity to Marigot Bay is also a great place to be on the island, and as far as St. Lucia as an island, it's beautiful, and the people are some of the best the Caribbean has to offer. We plan to come back to St. Lucia and also plan to stay at Trou Rolland … see more
