Description
Villa located in a natural privileged area, in the Nature Reserve of Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António in the mouth of the River Guadiana. This has been the first nature reserve in the country, today an ZPE (special protection area for Avifauna) and also a Ramsar local. This place is the habitat for lots of species of migratory waterfowl that nest here.
Located in a small village, a few kilometers from Spain, and near of some of the best beaches in europe, all with the blue flag of FEE.
The location is very quiet and ideal for resting.
The whole area is much appreciated by foreign families, especially English who live here full time.
In an area of 10 kms exist for golf lovers 4 fields. In this village we have 2.
For beach lovers, a few kms we have several such as Praia Verde Beach Cabeço, Altura and Monte Gordo.
Along with the rest, the whole area provides leisure and entertainment, choosing among spending the nights in bars or at the casino. During days water sports can be a good choice.
For shopping and due to the proximity to Spain, have the alternative choosing between Ayamonte and Vila Real de Santo António, where in can also taste the gastronomic specialties of the two countries.
