Recently renovated the old housefarm has been transformed in 10 nice studios/apartments that are situated in a beautiful natural environment:: an estate of 50 hectares of orange, lemon and olive trees. Ideal for all who wish to brief the true “Sicilian perfume”. From the terrace, on one side you see the Mount Etna and on the other side the view of the coast is a truly unique show. The TAROCCO apartment is for 2/4 persons, a nice bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a double sofa bed complitely furnished with TV and Air condition . The kithchen is really nice with microwave,frigo . The commune garden is equipped with garden furniture including parasol and beach chairs, barbecue. Terre del Cardinale is an excellent base from which to explore Sicily and the volcano Etna. The village San Giorgio lies in Catania just two kilometres from the highway . Just 10 minutes from Catania and beaches, 15 kilometres from Acireale (a pretty little city, built on a plateau of lava, that is known for its Baroque churches). Giardini Naxos, a seaside resort with a sandy beach, is just 40 km from Terre del Cardinale ( 25 minutes with the highway). Next to Giardini Naxos we find Taormina 'the pearl of the Mediterranean' and one of the most exclusive seaside resorts in Sicily. Its ancient Greek theatre is world famous for its extraordinary panoramic views. Travelling south, 20 minute drive away lies Syracuse and Noto. Terre del Cardinale is also an excellent base from which to explore Mount Etna and its surroundings.
