“Family trip” We travelled again to Settle, this time with my wife's parents. And the only drawback is I wished we would have booked a longer stay. Settle as always was wonderful and more than met with my in-laws expectations.

“family holiday” The cottage was a really nice one, there was 6 adults and my then 6month old grandaughter. We had plenty of room so nobody was in one anothers way. There was plenty of information of what was around and about to do, which was helpful for us when we had done all we had planned. I phoned the owners the day before and they were really helpfull they answered all i asked. The only let down we had was the lack of cleaning my eldest daughter and myself had to clean from top to bottom as there was dog hairs everywhere and when i washed the floors i had to change the water 3 times. The drive up to the cottage is a long way from the road but we didnt mind that. Dont run out of anything as the nearest shops are a fair distance. What we all liked was the open views we had, the viaduct was in sight from the sunlounge,the people was all so frindly. Would we go again... yes we would.

“A beautiful place, a perfect break” The cottage is in a gorgeous location within easy reach of many of the Dales. It had everything we needed whilst retaining its Dales charm and character. “Beautiful location and very peaceful cosy cottage.” Had a lovely relaxing week in a cosy clean cottage in a really good location, shame it rained for three days but it didn,t stop us enjoying the beautiful scenery. The local town of Settle was lovely, the locals were very friendly. Will book again for next year.

“Cottage for Two” The cottage was very comfortable. The little extras ie flowers, wine, bread, milk etc provided by the owners made it even more welcoming. We had a very enjoyable week despite the ever changing weather. We would go again.

“Tranquil haven” A friendly, welcoming, but inobtrusive couple. The cottage is very well supplied with good quality furnishings, everything you need to feel at home is here. Warm, and homely, the master bedroom is all you would hope for in a high quality hotel. With the icing on the cake being the unspoilt views over rolling hills, the cattle, sheep and fowl as your neighbours. Ideally located for both the Lakes and Dales. I will certainly recommend Tethera, and it's accompanying cottages, and plan to return.

“What a great weekend” We went for a 40th birthday and took 16 friends along with us. The house was just great in every way. We enjoyed the space, the kitchen and its cupboards full of stuff, the jacuzzi and the massive lounge with roaring fire. I would recommend this for a great weekend getaway with friends or family. It's in a fabulous location right by the sea and very private. My only bug was it was cold but we did go in November! Would definitely go again.

“A real little gem!” What a delightful little cottage, with absolutely all the amenities one could wish for, plus a host and hostess who couldn't do enough for us. The welcome cake and drinks were the icing on the cake. Location was fantastic, with so many activities and attractions within minutes of the cottage. “everything you could want in a holiday.” we enjoyed the whole experience. good pub up the road. lots of places to visit. plenty of room in the cottage. facilities inside the cottage were excellent. good for disabled as its all on one level. the only downside was that we would have liked a little bit more outside space, as we had two dogs with us.

“Quant Little Chalet” It is a quaint little chalet right next to the beach. Fantastic views across the Bay of Morcombe. The windows in the chalet are south facing to lounge gets quiet warm in the day time. Decor in chalet is very nice good facilities. Free WiFi Bedrooms a little small but adequate. Beds very comfortable. Nice bedding. Electric storage heaters and a log burner heating was more than efficient. Lovely garden area to sit out in with ample of out side seating. Drive way into property is a little tight. Lane down to the property is very narrow. Good access to the South Lakes area few miles from Barrow in Furness and Ulverston. Really enjoyed my stay would defo like to use again. Owners leave you to get on and don't bother you, but any problems a phone call and they would do every effort to solve any issues.
