Experience the holidays and the hustle and bustle of our 22nd Annual Holiday Shopping Spree. You will receive a souvenir wine glass, a grapevine wreath, a recipe collection and an ornament from each of the 16 wineries. You will also receive a Shopper’s Card good at each winery for a discount off your purchase during the event.
Travel winery to winery to sample their holiday-inspired dish and sip their fine wines. You'll also leave each winery with a recipe card featuring that dish, and an ornament unique to that location.

International Chapter of Antique & Classic Boat Society will hold its annual meeting in Skaneateles. Friday, September 19, 2014 - 8:00 am
Over 150 boats will be on display at beautiful Skaneateles Country Club. This private club will be for the public viewing of antique boats from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday & Saturday and is handicap accessible. Free parking will be available on the country club grounds off Route 41A, with a shuttle to the show. A $5.00 admission will be charged. A vendor fair will also take place on the country club grounds. A 3 minute drive from the Village of Skaneateles.
20th Annual Dickens Christmas in Skaneateles: Step back in time and enjoy the holidays.
The following occur every Saturday and Sunday from Thanksgiving thru Christmas Eve PLUS Friday, November 29th
*Noon kick-off of Dickens each day on the porch of the Sherwood House.
*Strolling Dickens characters performing interactive street theatre
*Father Christmas greets the children from noon-2 pm, and 3-4 pm at the Masonic Temple Porch, 13 E. Genesee St.
*Free roasted chestnuts in front of Johnny Angels Restaurant on Jordan Street.
*Free horse drawn wagon rides around the village. Pick up in front of Sherwood Inn. Carriage rides available for a nominal fee.
*Free egg nog served by our local Girl Scouts every Saturday at 42 E. Genesee St. courtesy of Byrne Dairy
*Caroling at 2 pm at the Gazebo. The Revels Live! (Bad weather location….13 E. Genesee St. Porch)
*Live shows and music at the Skaneateles Library, 1 and 3 pm daily
*Sing Christmas carols with the “Dickens Singers” - listen for them throughout the village
*Mother Goose reads to children at the Skaneateles Library. (Exceptions: December 1 and November 24).
*Live holiday music on the street by the Temperance Band on Saturdays and Bagpiper Jack Heins on Sundays
