“Wow! Complete paradise! Can't wait to go back again... and again” This was our second time to the Lattice House and it was even more spectacular than the first time. Besides the house and property being absolutely gorgeous, the people are amazing (especially the house host, Ana!) and the wildlife and nature is second to none. Wether staying at the house or going on excursions, I can't imagine anyone not enjoying and living up every second. This time, the "lawn" and surrounding area was cleared out more and trails were marked. We headed down to the waterfall but beware, it is a little bit of a hike but completely worth it! We picked fruit from the orchard for fruit bowls for breakfast and spent as much time as we could in the infinity pool. Highly recommend waking up early with the howler monkeys in the morning. The animals are super active at this time and we even saw a family of wild boars on property. So awesome. Ana, the house host was the best. She was always readily accessible and answered all our questions and gave us the best recommendations. This is the best vacation we have ever been on (twice!) and can't wait to go back next year.

“Villa Paraiso lives up to its name!!” This was by far the best vacation I've ever been on and it was all thanks to the unbelievable Villa and amazing service. The Villa itself exceeded my wildest expectations! Exquisite infinity pool with a gorgeous ocean view, a kitchen that belonged in a magazine, and a state of the art movie theatre! Just outside of town it was the perfect distance from civilization for a nice secluded getaway. The surfing is a must - there's a shop that rents boards for $10/day only 5 minutes away. We even went deep sea fishing and caught a nice dinner! The nearby Playa Hermosa and Bellina are must sees and a great fresh sushi at a restaurant around the corner. Other than that anything and everything is readily available from the helpful staff who does their best to show off Costa Rica. Definitely a 5 star vacation! Can't wait to go back!

“4th of july vacation” We stayed at your amazing condo, for one week, during july 4th. What a wonderful place to watch the fireworks, top floor, overlooking the island, the beach club, the ocean... The condo is so big, we had a chef cook for us twice during our stay, we had plenty of room for all of us and a couple staying at Veranda. The view from both balconies is stunning and it's a perfect place for relaxing or a party, we did both!!

“Absolutely perfect!” This has been one of the most beautiful vacation rentals I have had the pleasure of staying in. The photos don't do this place justice. I was blown away by the panoramic ocean views from the balcony and how meticulously the condo and community grounds are maintained. The furnishings are brand new and very high-end, especially for Costa Rica. The king bed is extremely comfortable with quality linens, and I'm sure the queen bed in the spare bedroom is just as comfortable, even though it wasn't used. The condo is very secure and in a gated community that is guarded 24/7 which was a nice reassurance. Pacifico is also within walking distance to everywhere in Coco that you'd need to go. I would not hesitate recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting Costa Rica. This is truly the best place you could stay in Playas del Coco, it doesn't get any better! “Great rooms and amazing service!” We stayed in a condo here for almost a week and had a very nice time. The units are spacious and clean and there are only 8 of them so the pool is never crowded. The monkeys will come right up to your balcony and peek in on you, and the place has a guarded gate at the entry 24 hours a day so everything is secure. The location is good as well, right between Quepos and Manuel Antonio so it's close to everything without being right in the middle of a crowded area. We left having had a very nice time and only discovered that we had left a laptop in one of the rooms after receiving an urgent email (we had no phone service) from Dorit, who manages the front office. We had already driven several hours away to our next hotel when we received the message, and were set to fly home a day later. I was afraid I would have to spend my entire day driving back to get the computer, but Dorit quickly and cheerfully arranged it so their driver would deliver the computer to us at our new hotel, 4 hours away (!), that next morning for a very reasonable fee - probably less than I would have spent in fuel if I made the trip to get it myself! They really went above and beyond and saved us a huge hassle and from having to waste our whole last day in the country driving back for the computer. I can't recommend this location highly enough, and the price for the rooms is great as well! Book it now!

“Wow! You'll love the Red Sunset!” Are you looking for a luxury guesthouse near Lake Arenal and Arenal Volcano? If so, look no further and book yourself into the Red Sunset. My husband and I, along with six friends, spent a week in March there. We are so glad we did! We found the accommodations to be everything they were advertised and more. The views are amazing and the house, pool house and grounds will give you plenty of opportunities to relax and explore. While the guesthouse is excellent, the very best feature is the owner/operator Patrick. Patrick met with us each day to help us plan activities and make reservations with the best tour operators. His local knowledge and recommendations were spot on each day, and his help was invaluable. The breakfast provided each morning was a highlight unto itself. Come prepared to eat well – you won’t be disappointed. We’ve never had meals of this quality at similar style lodgings. We also took advantage of the optional evening Chef services. While there were several great places to eat in the Lake Arenal area, all of which were recommended to us by Patrick, you won’t beat the meals prepared by Patrick and his wife. Our favorite was the Chicken Parmesan – sorry, Mom, but it was the best we’ve had anywhere! The Red Sunset was the perfect place for our Costa Rica vacation. We arrived as guests and soon felt like family. We’re glad we chose the Red Sunset!

“Debra's 50th Birthday” By far one of the best vacations ever. Casa Espanola is a fabulous, upscale villa that is spacious, modern and clean. I traveled with a group of 20 people and everyone was in awe. I probably will never go to a hotel again after the Casa Espanola experience. The dining area was big enough for everyone, thus producing a total family vibe at mealtime. The rooms are big and the beds are huge. Chef Glenda and her daughter were the absolute best and the menu selections are just too many to name. The ride from SJO airport was 2 1/2 hrs but no one seemed to mind the long ride because it gave you an opportunity to sightsee. We also took the local bus in Manuel Antonio for about .67 cents....what a deal. I can't say enough about this fabulous place. I can't wait to go back. Thanks to Amy, Hazel and the staff at Casa Espanola.

“Beautiful condo, very friendly owners!!!” As we love to explore and participate on as many outdoor activities as possible, we needed to stay on a central location. This was perfect for us as arenal Volcano is within 1.5 hrs drive to the left and Monteverde within the same distance to the right. Liberia airport just about the same distance (all in all, very convenient for our purposes) note: as Costa Rica has so much to offer, 1.5 hrs is not an unusual drive if you want to experience as many activities and sites as you can) All the units are state of the art (wireless, fiber high-speed internet, kitchen appliances, etc) and with all the amenities of a very modern condo. The owners, Zen & Doreen were very nice and friendly and made us feel quite welcome. “Awesome place” Our family spend a lovely week there. The property is located less than 2 minutes walk to the beach and it is very safe. Pool is great and gardens are carefully maintained. The property caretaker and guards were very courteous. The house is clean, spacious and has the basics to cook there. There is also Wi-Fi. Great view of the ocean from the balcony and easy to go to super market and restaurants. Playa Hermosa was quiet and relax during the month of august. This beach is very close to the city of Liberia and it is a great point to do day around Guanacaste, either to other beaches, volcanoes, waterfalls or rivers.
