Relaxing Island (Gaspar Grande) Villa. Great View

My lovely house is part of a community of individually owned houses that was known as "Fantasy Island Beach Resort" at one point in time.

Rental Rates are as follows:

From Monday to Thursday the rate is US$ 125 per night.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights are at a revised rate of US $ 230 per night.

Please note there is a pre-cleaning fee of $30, a refundable Damage Deposit of $200, and the website adds a small Booking Fee.

The house overlooks the beach and pool, and is a short walk to the jetty/marina.

Additional Location Information

The island of Gaspar Grande is a 5-10 minute boat ride from Chaguaramas. Water taxis are available from a Marina called "Island Property Owners Association". The water taxis are some enterprising fishermen, so the boats aren't labelled as taxis. Just ask around and they'll appear !
The villa literally overlooks a beach and pool. There is a grocery on the island, where you can pick-up basic convenience items such as Drinking Water, Canned Goods, Soft Drinks, Toiletries, Garbage Bags, Disposable plates and cups. However, many renters simply bring as much as they need.
Kayaks are available for rent, at the marina. There is also a basketball court and a children's playground. A Zip Line and a water slide are presently under construction.
The island boasts a magnificent Limestone cave located on the other side of the island. At this point in time, there are no maintained paths or hiking trails until you're fairly close to the lodge before the cave. It's not recommended to hike without a guide or by yourself, as there are thick vines, snakes and sink holes to watch out for. Access to the caves are also regulated by the Chaguaramas Development Authority (CDA), who issues permits to visit the caves.
You can also take a boat trip across to Chacachacare island which hosted an old leper colony, and a salt pond.
