We had a fantastic time while staying at Vineyard Chalet. It was very peaceful and great to sit by the fire and listen to nature. It was very clean and had plenty of beds to sleep in. I would highly recommend and can't wait for a return visit!

We had a great time at Ohiopyle! The house was nice and in a great location. A lot of space indoor and out. Outside decks/furniture could use some upkeep. Fire pit was nice. Large charcoal grill so bring extra charcoal. 9 miles to Ohiopyle. Minutes from Laurel Caverns.

It was pretty expensive just for one night because it was just my husband two children and I. But if you were going with more than one family or a couple of friends to split price it wouldn't be so bad! The house was big! LOVED building a fire in fire pit and kids hunting eggs in the snow :)

It is a lovely quiet spot to relax and enjoy the Fall Colors. We liked the Chalet, but could not locate the bath towels. We enjoyed the proximity to Ohiopyle State Park, Fallingwater, and the Christian Klay Winery.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Vineyard Chalet, booking at short notice(around 2 weeks ahead). We stayed Thurs &Fri; nights and were charged the weekend rate for both nights - after querying this, I was told this was because it wouldn't be possible to rent to anyone else for that weekend(though this was not explained on the website and seemed unlikely anyway, given the short timescales). In terms of the size, facilities &location; of the property, it was perfect for us -5 adults, a 13month old and 6 week old baby, visiting Fallingwater. The kitchen units / cup'ds, cutlery, crockery were spotless and the beds very clean and comfortable. However, externally, the decks, windows and furniture were covered in cobwebs - as were the corners inside the property and the skirting boards / heaters, with dead insects and spiders. We looked under the sofa and there was a very thick layer of dust and dirt, and an old dog biscuit was found under one of the beds. This wasn't ideal for our crawling baby but we didn't spend much time in the property so we managed. On the plus side, the firepit was a great addition,as was the grill, and we ordered the BBQ pack of burgers from the Stonehouse restaurant (from the useful menu on the fridge)which was absolutely great - fantastic quality and very good value.OVerall, the chalet would have been perfect if it had been given a proper clean. We used the vacuum in one of the bedrooms but it wasn't in good working order so was pretty inefficient. We recognise we are staying in the countryside so are going to see bugs from time to time, but the inside of the property would have benefitted from a deep clean which would have improved our overall experience.

The guests who stayted in the rental property thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The Chalet was well stocked, clean and perfect. They were in the wedding party, and live in Georgia. They enjoyed Western PA and expressed their stay as "exquisite"...... Thank you so much!!!!

Roomy, comfortable, convenient location. Close to Stone House Restaurant and right across the street Klay Vineyard. Great deck and firepit for sitting outside. Tricia, our Property Manager was super terrific to work with before and during our stay.

we called about malfunctioning coffee pot and it was quickly replaced. Nice house, good shower. Plenty of kitchen ware. One bed mattress was uncomfortable however and it would have been nice to have more seating around the fire pit-- the guys had to carry them back and forth each time.

The accommodations were OK, but we won't be renting it again. Let me suggest some ways to improve it. When the paperwork says it has a TV, these days that means you have cable. Folks with kids can be REALLY counting on cable as entertainment, not just a DVD player. The master bedroom bed should be replaced with something that meets today's standards; namely, a king-sized bed. I weigh 170 and my husband weighs 220, so that small, squeaky bed kept waking us up. Please update the paperwork regarding the grill outside. Some of the lit. says that it is propane, but it is a nice new charcoal grill/smoker. We had to make a run to the store as soon as we got there because it was clear we needed some things: ice, charcoal, towels. We left ice in the freezer so the next renters didn't have to go get it. For the small things, for $10 these things could be provided. However, for all the improvements, I realize that I am talking about investing a few thousand into the place, but at least for our demographic, a couple of boomers with no kids, a good night's sleep, CNN, and not needing a convenience store the first night there are important.
