Champagny en Vanoise, is set on a sunny mountain side in Savoie (Tarentaise-Vanoise) and offers a warm welcome to skiers and nature lovers with the contrasting qualities of a charming, traditional Alpine village and a modern ski resort that literally sparkles with life.

Champagny Station (resort) (at 1250m altitude) is a superb traditional village with access to the La Plagne (255km pistes from 1250m ' 3250m altitude) and Paradiski (425km pistes including Les Arcs) ski areas. You can reach ski slopes at 2000m via an 8-minute cable car ride, directly from the village.

The valley of Champagny le Haut: a superb, unspoilt little valley which has been designated a 'natural site and monument of France' for the beauty of its countryside and its well-preserved, traditional village architecture. It is also the gateway to the Vanoise National Park (the oldest National Park in France, created in 1963) and one of the most beautiful areas for cross-country and other Nordic activities in this region.

Walking footpaths, snow shoe excursions, a toboggan run, visits, heritage (at Espace Glacialis), ice climbing on the ice tower (unique in Europe) will all add to the pleasure of your stay. There are almost 30km of maintained cross-country ski tracks, walking and snow-shoe tracks in the remarkable Champagny Le Haut.

The area boasts slopes ranging from 1250m to 3250m in altitude. Home to 425km of pistes, which are divided between 232 runs, Paradiski has something to offer every level of skier. Not only does it offer access to some fantastic and varied downhill skiing, but also a wide range of other snow sports, such as dog sledging, snow shoeing, paragliding, cross-country skiing, including the chance to try out La Plagne’s very own Olympic bobsleigh run.
