Renowned for its spectacular 'Fogher' sea cliffs which rise from the Atlantic Ocean on the northern side, the Island is also famous for the unique subtropical gardens at Glanleam House, a must see for all visitors to the area. The Skelligs Experience Centre which explains the history of the Skelligs Rocks, the bird life, and the life under the seas must not be missed. Unspoiled beaches, cycling and walking opportunities, angling, diving, and boat trips are all on offer at Valentia Island.
