Set on a hilltop in Chianti, villa Le Pratola offers views in every direction and something for every member of the family. Kids will love the pool and games room, while adults will appreciate the proximity to Siena and Florence. Five air-conditioned bedroom suites and nearly five acres of gardens mean there’s room for everyone to spread out.
The villa is well-equipped for exploring or relaxing. Take a swim in the infinity pool, go head-to-head in the games room or at the pool table and work up a sweat in the compact gym. There’s a wood-burning outdoor barbecue, and a dining area in the stone courtyard where you can enjoy what you’ve grilled. Relax on loungers around the pool or take advantage of the Wi-Fi access indoors.
Le Pratola’s stone walls and beamed ceilings are a traditional envelope for striking modern interiors. In the living room, a sleek sectional is pulled up to an original fireplace surround, and a red Lucite coffee table and striped chair add fun, glamorous touches. The dining room is open and airy, with a large arched window, and the state-of-the-art kitchen pairs stone countertops with glossy red cabinets.
Each of the villa’s five air-conditioned bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom stocked with a hairdryer and toiletries. There are four bedrooms with queen beds, one of which also has a sofa bed. The fifth bedroom has two twin beds as well as a trundle bed. For the smallest guests, baby equipment like a crib, highchair and booster seat is available.
Though Le Pratola offers the peace and panoramas of a location in rural Chianti, it’s just over a mile from the Pozze di Lecchi restaurant, and about 2 miles from a grocery store, church and town center. You’ll find a train station and the Siena hospital 9 miles away, and it’s a 2-hour drive to the airport.

Overall, the villa was more than we expected. It was extremely comfortable and well-appointed and the services provided saved us time and made the holiday very relaxing. The location of the villa was great. While you definitely need a car to get around, the villa is located within easy reach of idyllic villages, vineyards, and sites. There is great biking around (although you need to drive road bikes to the bottom of the driveway). The villa itself was great. It has been beautifully restored to a high standard and was very comfortable for three families to share. The pool is absolutely stunning and was a haven on hot afternoons. The garden is beautifully maintained. The support before we arrived and while were there was fantastic. Margherita was a wonderful resource for everything from meals, to bikes, to transfers. The daily cleaning ensured that the villa looked good all week. Elena's meals were wonderful, making for a very relaxing vacation. - Lesley M., British Columbia, Canada

le Pratola has everything you might imagine and more. The views of the sun setting over the Tuscan mountains by the infinity pool are breathtaking. The villa is beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. There is something for everyone. The owner is available with any and all questions which is very comforting - she clearly wants you to enjoy your vacation. In fact it is difficult to leave Le Pratola to venture the Tuscan area because it is so peaceful. We used the Pizza oven for a pizza cook-off after our teenage boys had in house cooking lessons with Barbara - it was a perfect day. The villa was rather large for 5 of us....we won\'t hesitate to go back and bring some friends.
