Additional Location Information

The village of Chlorakas is a traditional village with locals sitting outside cafes drinking coffee. It is a short stroll away from the complex where you will find a bank with ATM, a few shops and restaurants, an Orothodox church alongside which stands the original old village church. Both churches are worth a visit to view the icons.
The Tombs of the Kings is a large necropolis lying about two kilometres north-west of Paphos harbour in Cyprus. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Tombs of the Kings can be reached on the local bus as can the old church of St.Paul’s Pillar located in the heart of Kato Paphos. This charming Byzantine-style church was built around the 13th Century on the site of an earlier Basilica and is surrounded by Roman ruins and mosaics. The site of Cyprus Mosaics, or more commonly referred name of ‘Paphos Mosaics’, are a series of mosaic floors in villas of ancient Roman noblemen. The site where the villas are still being excavated can be found about 300 metres from the Paphos harbour. The mosaics feature mythological characters and scenes, and were constructed from small cubes of marble and stone.

Paphos harbour is home to many restaurants serving local caught fish, cafes and bars, it is a wonderful place to relax and watch the world go by. For more lively karaoke bars and nightclubs, St. Antonios Street is a stone’s throw from the harbour.

The Troodos mountains are around 1.5hrs drive from Paphos and there are many traditional Cypriot villages to visit on the way up. It is not unusual for villagers to invite you into their homes for coffee and local delicacies.
