Eden by the Sea--Vacation Joy without Parallel!
Vacation Joy Without Parallel!
St. Croix is the dreamy island of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Unlike busy and crowded St. Thomas, the lifestyle on St. Croix is quiet and somewhat rural. Still, you will find plenty to do--snorkel and SCUBA dive the crystal clear waters from one of the white sand beaches or join an expedition to beautiful Buck Island, home of the only underwater National Park in the U.S. Between your relaxing times at the beach or by the swimming pool, you can enjoy many other fun activities such as golfing, horseback riding, hiking through the rain forest. You can visit historical sites such as Fort Christianvaern (at the end of the boardwalk overlooking Christiansted harbor) or the Whim Plantation (one of many original sugar plantations that dot the Island). Kayak the bioluminescent bay after dark for an unforgettable experience! Of course, is any vacation complete without shopping? You will find plenty of shops to explore that feature beautiful local art, jewelry, and fashions.
Eden by the Sea is a perfect home base for your visit to wonderful St. Croix. Perched on a hilltop overlooking spectacular Coakley Bay on the breezy northeast end of the island, with views of Buck Island just two miles distant, you will find a comfortable, quiet environment to rest in between the fun and exciting activities you will be enjoying. With all new furnishings in the 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath condominium, you will feel right at home. You will find at your fingertips all the amenities of home and vacation that you can possibly want. We provide all linens, including sheets, pillows, towels, a completely functional kitchen with all dishes and utensils, and snorkel and pool equipment. Central air conditioning, free WiFi Internet, satellite TV, a collection of games, DVDs and books for beach reading complete the resort-like environment.
Each bedroom suite includes a private bath. The Master Bedroom features a queen bed as well as its own private gallery facing the water. The second bedroom is nestled amidst colorful foliage and provides a king bed that can be converted to two twin beds.
The living room includes a gallery with grill and table and chairs for those who might enjoy an evening at home. The open floor plan also has a convenient half bath tucked to the side. For the children in your family, the living room sofa converts to a queen bed.
So start planning your vacation to sunny St. Croix, where the day time temperatures never dip below 85 degrees. You will leave relaxed, tan, and ready to return soon to this idyllic island in the Caribbean Sea.TripAdvisor property ID 4720709...Read more

We had a great time in St. Croix -- went on the Salt River tour with Bush Tribe and over to Buck Island with Captain Heinz -- really enjoyed both! Rest of the time spent relaxing, reading, touring the island, some shopping. The weather was great, lots of sun, gentle breeze, beautiful sunrises and sunsets... Ate dinner at Duggan's (right down the road) the night before we left -- fresh tuna, mahi, lobster -- delicious! We've rented a number of places on various islands and I have to say Eden by the Sea is among the best. Lovely views, the pool and beach, a restaurant on-site, convenient location. The condo is beautifully decorated, well-laid out with the 2 floors and 2 balconies, 2 bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths offering plenty of space and privacy. The beds are very comfortable. It's so well equipped and everything works. I can't think of anything to change or add... Wow!! Our time here flew by, would stay longer than a week next time. Julie, the owner, answered all our questions, made suggestions, had a binder chock full of information in the condo -- very helpful. We're sure to come back to Eden by the Sea. Thanks!!!

Beautiful scenery around every bend! Our every need was provided for, comfortably furnished and lovely condo, also the pantry and kitchen were well stocked with staples and equipment. I loved the view of the ocean from the balconies off of the master bedroom and living room. The restaurant on the property, the Cultured Pelican, was excellent (Thursdays are 2 for 1 entrees) and you can't beat the view! We were provided plenty of materials on things to do. Fort Christiansted and the boardwalk area in Christiansted were great to visit. If you like to hike, the trip to Point Udall and Isaac and Jack bays were well worth it. The beaches were pristine with the bluest waters I've ever seen. Great snorkeling. Most relaxing vacation ever! 84 degrees every day we were there (in Feb.).

As I write this, My car is warming up and I have already scraped the ice off of the windshield. Eden by the Sea. Quiet, Peaceful, Great View, No ice on the windshield. It's a great place to base an adventure on a beautiful tropic island. Everything you need is in this unit. Just stop by the grocery store on the way to Coakley Bay. Unpack your bag and grab your swimsuit and head for the crystal clear pool. Relax with a Cruzan Rum and fruit drink. Don't worry about taking a lot of clothes. There is a nice washer dryer combo in this condo. Do you want to get away from it all. Go... Go now... But you can't go the first week of January. I have already bought my plane ticket. This winter, treat yourself. It's a vacation to relax and forget the snow, ice, and freezing weather. The hardest part of your trip will be...getting on the plane to leave. To sum it all up: Away for the winter, relaxed, quiet, beautiful view, great local people, romantic, and No Long Pants.
We really have to agree with you--no long pants! With daytime temperatures NEVER less than 85, you can be absolutely certain your vacation will be warm and summery. Since we're still living in Chicago, working toward retirement in St. Croix, would you mind if we went with you in January? ;-) Thanks very much for your review!

“Great Place To Stay”

I enjoyed my stay here immensely. The views from the balconies were breathtaking. The rooms were spacious and clean with an airy freshness throughout. There were many extras provided, such as the sanitized snorkeling equipment, multitudes of fresh, clean linens, every necessary item you could think of in the kitchen, & a washer and dryer as well. There is also a notebook chock full of information about favorite places to swim or snorkel as well as local restaurants to visit (Chicken Shack!), and information of other local establishments off the beaten path. This place is very warm and cozy. The owners have treated us like family from the beginning. My husband and I have already reserved the date for our next stay here.
We loved having you, Bobbie, and thank you for your kind words. Wait until you see Eden by the Sea again--we continue to make little changes so it will be even more beautiful each time you visit!
“Relaxing family vacation”

Our family stayed at Eden by the Sea the first week of august. This was our first visit to an island and it was more than we had dreamed it would be! The condo was clean, quiet and had everything we needed for a family of 4. The owners were friendly, very knowledgeable of the island and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The pool area was beautiful, had a great view of the oceon and was just a great place to relax any time of the day. The balcony was a nice place to relax and just enjoy the scenery.
The beaches in St.Croix are just breath taking. There are so many beaches to visit, each with something new to offer. We snorkeled here for the first time ever and even got to swim with a sea turtle who seemed to take a liking to my daughter.
At night we found places to enjoy with family friendly entertainment. One night we bet on hermit crabs and won some great prizes. Another night we joined in on some line dancing and got to watch the dancing mocko jumbies! Our last night on the island we did the Bioluminescent kayak tour and it was just amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Eden by the Sea and have already recommended it to friends/family. We will definitly go back again to enjoy Eden by the Sea and the beautiful island of St.Croix
