Casina di Rosa - cosy home in a village in Tuscany

Casina di Rosa is a lovely stone house in a medieval village in the heart of Tuscany. It was built by the owner's great-grandparents and has always been in the family. It is perfectly located to explore southern Tuscany, situated as it is halfway between Siena and the coast of the Maremma, with easy access to the most famous sites in Tuscany. Hot springs are nearby and vineyards and olive groves surround the village. The house has a lovely kitchen furnished in a romantic country style and equipped with all the necessary amenities (washing machine, filter coffee machine, oven, fridge and freezer, toaster, etc.) to ensure that guests are comfortable. ...Read more

Additional Location Information

Casina di Rosa is located in a medieval hill-top village in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. It is actually in the village, so within walking distance to shops, bars and the local restaurant (excellent). A perfect base for an authentic feel of the Tuscan lifestyle. The village is at a crossroad among several very popular areas of Tuscany, such as the Val d'Orcia, the Maremma, the Siena area, Chianti, Crete Senesi and even Monte Amiata is an easy day trip. There is enough to keep our guests busy for two weeks without them having to change accommodation every other day.

There are free natural hot springs nearby, beautiful open and unspoilt countryside, Siena and the coast of the Maremma are equidistant (35 minute drive).

The village itself has all the main services and a fabulous and renowned restaurant, La Locanda nel Cassero. It is mentioned in most of our guests' reviews.
