“Great time at King's Mountain Laurel” We are two adventurous Senior Adult couples who wanted to get away from it all for Thanksgiving. That's exactly what we found at this lovely cabin on top of this mountain, and the owner was warm and friendly. We were comfy, warm and the views from the porch was incredible! The driveway was a thrill and not for the faint of heart, but we had an experienced driver so we had no problems. Daniel's Steakhouse served a great Thanksgiving meal; Georgia Mountain Restruant had a great breakfast, and we shopped and explored the surrounding area on Friday...Don't miss Bell Mountain (another thrill) in Hiawassee, and Mark of the Potter in Clarksville. “Excellent little getaway” My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The cabin was beautiful and well kept. The hot tub was very clean. We could hear traffic sometimes but not enough to really be bothered. This is a wonderful place to stay near some great national parks, and right outside the lively town of Helen. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.
