In the apartment you will find everything you will need for your self catering holiday.The sitting room is large (5mx4m) and light with expansive views and is furnished to high standards with two sofa's.The fitted kitchen is comprehensively equipped with quality fittings and utensils to cater for all your culinary needs. Two double bedrooms have lots of storage space, and non allergenic duvets are available (all bedding included). Fully tiled bathroom with modern bath and overhead electric shower, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail (towels included).Outside is a shared courtyard with picnic tables and seating. A secure bike store is also available.Private parking in your own space. Getting around

A car is really essential to enjoy the many sights of the Lake District. Rural bus services are generally few and far between, although the Honister rambler is a good option if you want to do some of the great linear walks in the area. A bus service runs from Cockermouth to Keswick, where you get a connection to Ambleside and Windermere if you fancy a day out on the bus.

We will greet you at the apartment, show you round and hand over the keys. We can offer lots of local knowledge if you require, and are close by to offer any assistance you may need during your stay at Loweswater. We know all the great eateries in the area and the best walks to tackle in the local area. A comprehensive information folder is provided as is lots of local information.

Just a short drive away is Keswick with all it's outdoor gear shops.
Hadrian's Wall and the Border country are an easy drive away for a different sort of day out.

“Fabulous views towards the Solway Firth”

Lovely quiet rural location, convenient for Cockermouth. Well appointed apartment with all our needs catered for. Lovely welcome from the owners. We especially enjoyed watching the birds on the balcony.
