From the moment you step inside the front door you will be enchanted by the warmth and style of Bellair Terrace. To your left is the main bedroom which overlooks the front veranda. Retaining its original Victorian fireplace and ceiling rose, the room is decorated in period style but enjoys modern comforts including ducted heating, a comfortable queen bed and quality furnishings. Adjoining the main bedroom is a dressing room with chest of drawers, hanging space for clothes, a full-length mirror and a desk. a perfect place to gett 'dolled up' for a day at the races or a night on the town. A door from the dressing room leads through to a spotlessly clean ensuite/bathroom. From the clean lines of the fully tiled walls and walk-in shower with minimalist glass screen, to the fluffy white towels and organic toiletries, the bathroom will delight you.
Returning to the hallway, there is a small laundry (with basin, washer and dryer) adjacent to the bathroom. Towards the rear of the house you will discover the fully equipped kitchen suitable for preparing gourmet meals or quick snacks during your stay. Beyond the kitchen is the spacious open plan dining/living/entertainment area with stylish dining setting and ample soft seating for six guests. Sliding glass doors open to a delightful courtyard garden with outdoor setting and barbeque. Help yourself to fresh herbs growing in the garden or, if it’s the right time of year, you might find a strawberry or two to nibble on.
A light-filled staircase leads to the newer upstairs extension, where you will find two bedrooms both with fitted robes, and a second bathroom.
Venturing beyond the house you will find that Bellair Terrace is located in an area that boasts heritage buildings, tree lined streets, trendy cafes, and boutique shops. It is just two train stops from Melbourne’s central business and entertainment district and only minutes away from major attractions such as Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne Zoo and the RASV showgrounds. Major public hospitals and the University of Melbourne are also nearby.
Bellair Terrace is ideal for family holidays or for families relocating to Melbourne. Groups of friends will find Bellair Terrace equally accommodating, as will those visiting Melbourne for business.

Once a working-class suburb, in recent years many professionals and young families have moved into the area, rennovating the Victorian cottages and enlivening this delightful area. Tree-lined streets and a vibrant cafe culture make Kensington a favourite spot for people from surrounding suburbs to visit on weekends for a lazy brunch and browse through interesting boutique shops. Historic buildings and a rich local heritage make Kensington an interesting place to base yourself while visiting Melbourne.
Bellair Terrace has off-street parking at the rear of the property and street parking out the front. It is close to public transport with the train station a short 2 minute walk away and trams and buses also nearby. It is only two train stops to the city and walking distance to Flemington Racecourse where the world famous Melbourne Cup is run each year on the first Tuesday in November.

The 4 person rate assume that only two of the three bedrooms will be used by guests. If all three bedrooms are required, a surcharge of $60 is payable to cover extra cleaning and linen. This surcharge does not apply where the booking is made for 5 or 6 guests.
The standard weekly rate includes a discount of 10% over the nightly rate. For stays of 2 weeks and longer, increased discounts - 5% per extra week - are applied.
For stays of 8 nights or longer, a mid-stay clean and change of towels and linen is included. For longer stays weekly cleaning, linen and towels are provided.
A baby and toddler pack comprising a port-a-cot, high chair and stair safety gate can be arranged for a small additonal fee.
One infant under the age of two can be included free of charge, with any booking. For example, 4 adults with a one year old baby will pay the 4 persons rate.
