Beyond this is a large landscaped garden laid to lawn with mature trees, shrubs and a wonderful lake full of fish and wildlife, Pool Hay (3 bed) is comfortable & set for self contained living. There is 2.5 acres of grounds for children & adults to enjoy, plus there's private fishing available.
The West Country as a region is an ideal destination for families, friends or couples. Wonderful ambience combined with stunning surroundings make for the ideal holiday location. With so much to see and do in the area you will never get bored.
Within easy driving distance of Pool Hay is the medieval City of Wells, this lovely Cathedral City also boasts the unique moated Bishop’s Palace. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is an excellent market in the market square with a wide variety of craft, food and general interest stalls.
Glastonbury offers another famous ecclesiastical site, in the middle of this quaint Somerset town Glastonbury Abbey steeped in history and mysticism.
The Regency city of Bath is approximately an hours drive where you can admire the architecture in the famous Crescent and Circus, both a short stroll from the centre of town. Also the ancient Roman Baths which are really well presented in a user/child friendly tour, for a modern take on the spa try the Thermae Bath Spa'
