Description
Le Petit Poucet is located in the exclusive Bel Ombre Meadow area of Upper Constantia, one of the most beautiful suburbs in Cape Town. Relax in the peace and tranquillity of the picturesque rural Constantia Valley, renowned for its world famous wine farms, while being centrally located for all that the Fairest Cape has to offer.
Our two bedroom cottage is set in a private and secure 1.5 acre garden with magnificent mountain views. It is conveniently situated just a short drive from Constantia Village and Cavendish shopping centres, while Cape Town City Centre, blue flag beaches, Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, and Cape Town International Airport are only a 20 minute drive away. Golfers have a choice of five local courses and hikers have beautiful forest and mountain walks on their doorstep.
The cottage has its own secluded courtyard which overlooks the lush garden with mountain views and a sparkling swimming pool. It is comfortably furnished and fully equipped for self-catering, offering accommodation for up to four persons, children are most welcome. There is an open-plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and lounge that leads onto a private outside patio with braai (BBQ) facilities. The kitchen features a stove, hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite shower, while the second bedroom has a queen-size bed with en-suite bathroom with shower and bath.
Facilities include, secure off-street parking directly outside cottage, Fully alarmed for your added security, Full Satellite DStv bouquet plus a DVD player, Unlimited free Wi-Fi internet access, Large swimming pool and a Braai (BBQ) We also offer, Bed linen and bath towels, a safe, a hairdryer, fan and wall heaters.
There is an Iron & ironing board as well as drying facilities, laundry services which are also available.
Crockery and cutlery is provided. Daily housekeeping with the exception of weekends and public holidays is available.
Initial basic grocery stock up service is offered and guests will pay as per till slip.
Airport collection can be arranged on request.
Please note that we are a non-smoking establishment, our guests are kindly requested to smoke outdoors only.

“Perfect Family rental in Constantia”
This is the best holiday cottage rental we have stayed in which made for an amazing first holiday to South Africa/ Cape Town. The cottage is Private and located next to the fantastic main house.The cottage had it's own private garden with sun loungers and BBQ, however Oxana and Stefan welcome you to use the entire garden and the heated swimming pool.The garden is so peaceful set just at the bottom of Table Mountain. Our 4 year old daughter absolutely loved the jungle gym and trampoline.The neighborhood felt very exclusive & the area of Constantia is really safe with a lovely park just opposite and a 5- minute drive down to Constantia village which had lots of restaurants and supermarkets. (We really enjoyed Tasha's restaurant). It's a great location to drive to the beaches at Camps bay or over to Muizenberg beaches for some surfing which was only 15mins drive. The cottage is very private and exceptionally clean (house cleaning every day) and we took advantage of the laundry services offered. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we needed and beach towels etc....The beds were huge and really comfortable. Oxana & Stephan are really lovely hosts and ensured we had everything we needed. Before arriving, Oxana messaged to offer to collect groceries ahead of us arriving which was very kind. Oxana was always available if we needed anything. They offered so many tips and help on the local areas to help make the most of our holiday. They even let our daughter borrow their sons body board to take surfing at Muizenburg. They made us fee completely welcome in their home and offered us a room in the main house to hold our luggage/shower after we had checked out having a late evening flight home. We can't wait to visit again, we would very highly recommend staying with Oxana and Stefan.
